Adobe chicken
Lorie L.

This is your source for authentic Filipino food, and Bamba Eggroll Company offers a variety of items for most tastebuds. Our family favorite is lumpia, both beef and apple. We love dipping in the sauce or sweet glaze. Another must have are the BBQ pork skewers. More subtle favors are the Adobe chicken and pancit noodles. I enjoyed pairing them together. Family meals are available. Pick up or delivery options. Easy to pay in advance and select delivery times. You can also find the team at local farmers markets and events. Follow their Facebook page to keep up with their locations.

Wow! Amazing lumpia from this colorful food truck! The beef was out of this world and served with great dipping sauce. So delish!

Enjoyed the food immensely. The only frustrating-part is dealing with the restricted hours and days.

My favorite part was the ube turon (dessert). The lumpia wrapper and ube filling was brilliant - effective, simple, and hits the spot. My only regret was not getting more. My friends and I struggled to find a place with karaoke in Kentucky and we hit the jackpot here - they were nice enough to lend us their karaoke machine! 5 stars all around, come here when it's not busy and ask to sing to Golden by Kpop demon hunters on the machine!

It's a very small dining space inside maybe 4 tables so looks like this is more of a takeout spot. Service was very friendly but food took a little while to come out and we didn't get water until half way through the meal. Sigsig: fried pork belly with onions, peppers and mayo sauce and served with jasmine rice. Delicious overall, the pork was nice and crispy and minced, but the purple onions really added a harsh bite like they were added raw. The dish waseven better with some vinegar and soy sauce sprinkled on top. Portion was pretty generous but the $18 price was a little bit high. Halo halo: came in a big plastic cup, initial presentation was just OK. First time trying it and it was pretty good. Was skeptical about a shaved ice desert but they really made it sweet with lots of co densed milk and it had a few amount of mix-ins like jelly candy and a good amount of chopped coconut. Would have liked to see more ube. It's a very unique desert. Again, a little steep at $10 for shaved ice in my opinion. Overall, pretty good spot to try some Filipino dishes

I excitedly ordered the lechon kawali and chicken adobo with garlic rice, pancit, and lumpia. The pork was expertly cooked and lechon sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. The adobo was serviceable but the pancit was the best thing on the plate; I wished there was more of it. The lumpia was disappointing both in flavor and portion. For the price I found the portions to be very small. You can see in the photo roughly $30 worth of food fit into one of those large trays you might find nachos in at a high school football game. Overall not too shabby.

It also comes with fresh fruit pineapple and blood orange. The rice was a bit over cooked mushy but not too bad the fruit add a nice bit sweetness to a savory dish. The pork belly was nice and crunchy but was still tender after biting into it. A generous portion too which is always great. It is also served with fried vegetables which adds a great level texture to the rice. The lumpia a fried egg roll essentially Filipino style. I got a beef one. It was perfectly fried and had great seasoning. Was a great addition to the meal. Service was super friendly and welcoming. Its in the food hall but the ambiance is nice.

I've really wrestled with writing this review. So much to love. And yet, so much unfulfilled…read morepotential. The "store" section is very limited. No real perishables like fruits or vegetables. An oriental store without fresh bok choy or bean sprouts, etc? Many items available were standard canned water chestnuts, baby corn and various rice vinegars, chili oils, hoisin sauces and the like. Most of which you could find in a standard grocery. I should acknowledge the incredible help from the store "clerk" who patiently explained items and helped us find things that were already staring us in the face, but with non-English labels. Be sure to ask for the homemade kimchi. Outstanding. Now, slide over to the other side of this little store to the restaurant section where you'll find an extremely limited menu. Anna works the kitchen, making everything from scratch. Don't be in a hurry, because Anna doesn't take any shortcuts. Also, it's important to note Anna's Asian isn't your standard "Americanized" Chinese food. It's made Filipino style. I figured LoMein was a good starter-and it was very tasty. But unlike any LoMein I've ever tasted. Different noodles. Different flavoring. Lots of chicken chunks. Tasty. But different. My wife ordered Chop Suey with Shrimp served with a side of steamed rice. Large shrimp, cabbage, carrots & celery in a light sauce. Again, unexpected flavors. My wife loved it. Then another diner suggested something called Lumpia. Huge chunks of pork. Some vegetables in an absolutely delicious broth. I wasn't sure if Lumpia is a soup or a stew. And I didn't care. It was that good. We got our food to go...and we made 3 meals out of our order. So, here's the deal-if you're feeling adventurous and want to try a different style of Asian cooking, hit up Anna's. It's fresh. It's flavorful. And it's "different". If Asian/Chinese is a comfort food and you prefer the traditional style, Anna's might not be for you. But since most items are under $8, take a leap of faith and support this unique small business.

It had absolutely everything I needed and in extremely large quantities as well! An extremely large bottle of oyster sauce for the same price at what a small bottle would be at Krogers! Everything was extremely well priced and the selection was great! It's such a small cute store to have such a great selection! And Anna is such a sweat lady who is extremely welcoming and is just a joy to be around! Im coming back 100% when I need anything from eastern Asia as not only is the atmosphere completely welcoming but the prices are great too! 10/10 recommend!

The owner/chef was nice to introduce herself and I'll hopefully get the chance to engage with her more on my next visit. The presentation and flavor of my chosen dish was excellent. More food than my stomach can handle which is a good thing when it comes to value for what you pay. The portion is enough for two of me. Thus, there's a doggie bag for later. If there was a combo that reduced the portion with 2 pieces of lumpia and a drink, it would definitely increase the value of the experience. In the pic posted, the true name of the dish is labeled. When you go to the restaurant, you won't see it. Not because they don't know what the dish is but because they may believe you won't order it in confusion of the name. It is nice to see this dish represented and hopefully the locals of Brandenburg will be willing to learn more about Filipino dishes to understand the pride and culture of the heritage. They do honor a military discount. The next visit will be intended for a longer visit and more food to try. Thank you to the owners for bringing the spirit of our people to Meade county.
