Bamba Bistro is just one of the many must-try's in BF Homes Paranaque. This quaint restaurant does not seem much at first sight, but once you taste their dishes, you'll definitely love this place as well. Their menu consists of Filipino meets Spanish, a variety that many Filipinos have come to love because of our Spanish influence. Their pasta, most specially, the Spaghetti Pomodoro Cream is a sure-fire winner. For dessert, order What's My Name Again, a graham cinnamon crust with chocolate cream and cereal flakes on the top. They have lots more on their menu but I can't enumerate everything since they're all delicious. I just want to order everything on their menu. This place is foodie heaven!

    onion soup a winner

you wont go wrong trying this place out. we thought it was worth the trip coming from makati. the steak and the crispy lapulapu are good for sharing. the appetizers were superb! we totally loved the mussels. overall we loved almost everything that we ordered. only thing my husband wished he ordered was the lamb instead of the taco surf and turf. he wasnt happy with that but maybe because he saw and tried everyone elses order and had high expectations? price was very reasonable considering the size of the servings. they certainly dont scrimp on their servings and ingredients.

Hotel buffets are cutthroat competition. You're charging guests for thousands of Pesos, so…read morenaturally they'll be looking to make the most out of their money. Just giving them sashimi doesn't cut it anymore. It's something they can have at Yakimix or Sambokojin for half the price. You have to add something a bit more so that diners can rationalize for themselves that they got what they paid for. In Bellevue's Café d' Asie in Alabang, they serve what you'd normally see in hotel buffets - sashimi, rib-eye steak, and fresh shrimps. What I like that I don't see in other places though, is the Mongolian barbecue station. It's really not much, but I like it, especially since you can have as many shrimps as you can as opposed to going to a dedicated Mongolian buffet which doesn't even have shrimp. This, coupled with the fact that the staff of Bellevue are among the best, is enough to make someone like me from the other side of the Metro be willing to make the long trek there because I know I'm getting my money's worth.

We went to Bellevue after work at around seven in the morning, most of the tables were still empty and the waiters were very accommodating in leading us to the large round table that we have previously reserved. The ambience was high -class and elegant, and the almost 50 foot chandelier hanging above gave a wonderful site and superior feel to the area. I usually go to Café d'Asie at dinner with my family, but today I experienced dining at breakfast time. When I'm in a buffet setting, I usually target the Japanese section and go for the sashimis, but sadly, (maybe because they were still serving breakfast), my usual favorite dishes like roast beefs, lechon, steaks, cakes and desserts were still not available. Nevertheless, I've discovered some great tasting breakfast dishes such as their Swiss Muesli; after thorough observation I noticed that it was a combination of oats, nuts, apples, yogurt, milk, raisins, walnuts, almonds, milk and honey- and wow, it's a perfect ten for all the oatmeals that I've eaten my life. They have breads and pastries, several imported cheeses, meats, hams, bacon, muffins, croisaants, imported yogurt,, spreads, ommeletes, danggits, crispy squids, Korean and Mongolian sections, a lot of fresh and vegetables. Previously, dining at Cafe d' Asie does not include drinks, but now I had a choice between mango juice, orange juice , iced tea or coffee. The hotel manager was kind enough to give us a huge corporate discount and gave the buffet rates at a very affordable price. Truly a bang for the buck.

It has a homey and refreshing feel to it. They use mostly neutral colors with hints of greens, resembling a garden of some sort. Of course, this is reflected in the dishes that they serve, which they say is all-organic. Their menu was quite interesting. They had mostly vegetable dishes and a good enough selection of meat dishes. Unfortunately, we had just had lunch so we were just there for some coffee and dessert. Their coffee was ok for brewed coffee. It was not burnt nor was it too watered down. They also had an extensive dessert menu, most of which were made with either coco sugar or stevia. I tried one of their bestsellers, their banana walnut with cream cheese frosting. It was not bad at all, but it was nothing special. I also found it to be a tad bit small. Although I did not love what I ordered, I'm not closing my doors to them just yet. I noticed that others around me were ordering their salads and pastas. And they all looked and smelled delicious! I'll definitely try their food out next time if I'm ever in the area again.

The Urban Farm Salad (189 PHP) Lettuce and wakame seaweeds and seaweeds a very green salad to eat. It's a simple salad that I won't mind eating often, I love seaweed in fresh and dried form. The balsamic vinaigrette is punchy enough not alienate the clean taste. Salmon and Mash (389 PHP) Since our group had multiple orders of this dish, inconsistent preparation, which resulted in my salmon to be overcooked and dry, while my friends got the optimal versions. I do however enjoy the lean cut of this salmon. BBQ Beef Rins (490 PHP) It's fall-off the bone as promised, but it also falls short of good with the tangy sauce masking sauce merely masking the dull meat underneath.

Breakfast is the one thing that I look forward to whenever we check in on any hotel. To date, the best breakfast buffet that I have eaten in is at the Cafe Eight! I'm glad that we have been given the best place where we can conveniently have breakfast with our toddler and have our bulky stroller by our side without making it hard for others to pass by. The waiters were already on their toes as there were a lot of us who planned to have an early breakfast. Our coffee was served promptly as we were busy hoisting our son's booster seat on the dining chair. As my husband and I took turns in getting food for ourselves and for our little one, we cannot keep smiling as we hop from one buffet table to the next seeing our favorites and discovering new dishes. The omelette station was a hit and plenty of people were lining up for it but the staff assigned to that station were able to manage us well. I like it that the waiters were prompt to refill the empty trays with warm food that we didn't have to wait for our plates to be filled. Also, they were prompt to clear our table of empty plates just so we could conveniently place our newly filled ones. Oh how I'd love to have another breakfast buffet at Cafe Eight soon!

My favorite Spanish restaurant in town!…read more I've been coming to this restaurant for many, many years and I just love how nothing has changed. Their food has always been so delicious. I like to start off with their Gambas dish that has a sauce that just goes amazingly well with the bread that they give you.Their shrimps are always so fresh and tasty. Of course, a good plate of Jamon with their choices of cheese, that is indeed a necessity. You can't not come here and not order a paella. Any of their Paella dishes is good, it's really up to you what you're in the mood for. It's best to order those first because it takes a while to make. Their sandwiches are also very good if you're thinking of a lighter meal. They have excellent desserts that I could go there for without having to eat lunch or dinner. The place is a bit on the pricey side so it's a good place to go for special occasions with family or friends. They make a good pitcher of Sangria for a time you're out with your girlfriends. They have a wide choice of wines for a when you're out on a date. What's also nice about this place is that they have a nice little store/deli right beside so you can buy some ingredients and cold cuts to take home with you.

Terry's is a mom and dad's treat type of place, or maybe a fancy date night place; I'll never be able to afford it on my own. The interior reminds me a timeless classy manor, with large comfortable tables and chairs that make the restaurant feel homey. Terry's is the place to go if you're up for some authentic Spanish cuisine, an extensive selection of wine, and nice big slabs of steak. If you're not content with your meal, they have a mini grocery where you can stock up on your swanky snacks and imported ingredients to complete the paella you've been attempting to copy for the longest time.
