I don't usually leave reviews, but I can't express enough gratitude for Dr. Andersen!…read more For nearly three weeks, I had severe pain in one of my back teeth along with what appeared to be a "lesion" on the inside of my gum. I saw two other dentists and was told that my tooth was fractured and needed to be extracted. I came to this office during their annual free extraction event expecting to lose the tooth. Dr. Andersen took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation and wasn't convinced that extraction was the right answer. She determined that the "lesion" was actually a piece of bone protruding through the gum and removed it. Almost immediately, the pain that had been bothering me for weeks was gone. I am incredibly grateful not only because she found the real problem, but because she saved my tooth. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to look deeper instead of rushing to remove the tooth made all the difference. Thank you, Dr. Andersen, for your exceptional care. I truly can't thank you enough.

For the first time in my life, I did not feel anxious about going to the dentist, which says everything about the environment they have created. Nothing feels rushed or intimidating, and you can tell they truly care about their patients as people, not just appointments on a schedule. If you are someone who has ever felt nervous or stressed about dental visits, Fells Point Dental is the place to go. They have completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I will speak my truth over and over again. After all was said and done I had a horrible dental abscess that caused the most excruciating pain that I have ever experienced in my life, and I blame this dental practice. Dr. Murphy spoke with me over the phone while I was in debilitating pain and had the nerve to suggest that he would "fit me in tomorrow for a trigger point injection". I blame this practice for being a poor representation of the dental community and whole-heartedly blame them for making me unnecessarily suffer because they have lost their way in patient care.

I am not going to say something like "coming here cured my fear of the dentist!! " because that's impossible. What I can say is that the people here and Dr. K are some of the nicest people in the business. I've seen my fair share of dentists and one shining difference is that here they don't make you feel bad about your teeth. They tell you the issues and what you could do better but they also tell you all the things you are doing right. From a marketers perspective that is an A+ sale ; ). On top of that they also understood that I was afraid and did not dote on me or act condescendingly, and they didn't dismiss my fears, instead they treated me like a person with a real legitimate issue and offered me solutions as well as acknowledging the courage it took me to get there. It should also be noted that he ran over time due to the size of my cavities and said I would have to return to fix the last tooth. I expressed how waiting would kill me because of my anxiety and without hesitating he said he would do it right then. That meant a lot to me, especially since I probably seemed pretty hysterical. (He also offers to show you all sorts of stuff like cavities etc. which I think is great and proves transparency). The office is also very modern, not the normal bleak sad cubicles you see at other places. Lots of natural light! If you are afraid of the dentist and are afraid your dentist will dislike you or shun you for the act. Go here, because regardless of your anxiety level they will treat you like a person who is deserving of respect. : D.

I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. If you are in need of any dental work and have a fear that there may be pain, or you are in search of quality dental service Dr. Kuzmack of Towson View Dental Care should be your #1 choice! The timing couldn't have been worse, especially since I had just seen my dentist the week before for a cleaning and X-rays (no cavities--yay me!). So to have this happen a week later was honestly horrifying. I was in a panic, especially knowing I had to meet with a new client the next day--there was no way I could show up with an exposed tooth. I found this gem of a place through a Google search. The young woman who answered the phone was incredibly empathetic and reassuring, letting me know they could fit me in that same morning--and they did! When I arrived, I was immediately impressed by the beautiful décor, bright colors, and modern setup. They even had a TV over the exam chair where you could watch a movie or listen to music. Best of all, the staff were warm and welcoming. My appointment was at 9:00, and by 9:05 I was already in the chair getting X-rays. Dr. Robinson, one of the two dentists there, was kind, thorough, and worked both quickly and efficiently. I was out of there in under an hour, good as new. If I didn't already love my current dentist, I'd be switching over. And if you're looking for a great dental office--for yourself or your kids (they're a pediatric provider too)--this is the place!

One of my fillings fell out a few days ago, and my former dentist doesn't fit my schedule anymore. Kayla at Crossroads got me right in. Hygienist Lataysha and Dr. Friend determined they would apply a buildup but wait on a crown til I'd seen a root-canal specialist. My thought was, why bother with the buildup if it might be removed for a root canal? I clearly surprised them by declining the work, but they respected my decision. Kayla actually called the specialist and booked the appointment for me. But when we learned it wouldn't be for several weeks, I asked if I could get right back in the chair and go forward with the buildup. Dr. Friend agreed and after a short wait (shorter than I deserved, lol) and a *really* efficient session in the hot seat, I was on my way home in much better shape than when I arrived. Talk about flexible and patient! They respected my wishes to explore the possibilities, then took great care of me without saying, "I told you so!" I will be back if they'll take me. :-)
