I just moved to the area and my child doesn't have a dentist yet. Unfortunately he chipped a tooth so I came across this dentist because they say on their website they offer emergency care. However when they called they said they only way for me to get an appointment would be to make a appointment for a cleaning and full exam. Unfortunately it hasn't quite been six months since his last exam so I wasn't sure if my insurance would cover the cleaning yet. When I described the problem again they told me if I didn't do the cleaning I couldn't get an appointment until February. Obviously with a chipped tooth you shouldn't wait that long to receive any care--and honestly their staff should be telling people that so that the child's tooth doesn't get more damaged. I'm totally fine if they just didn't have an opening (and in fact we ended up finding a really nice office). However, I just think they should remove the claim from their website that they do emergency dental care because based on my conversation with them they basically don't.

Imagine mixing a preschool teacher with a dentist, that's Shiny Chompers. They welcome new patients by name, and the reception is filled with TV, toys, tablets, and a large fish tank. Parking can be limited, but there is an elevator to take the stroller up to the second floor that the office is located on. They are incredibly thorough and make each session enjoyable and comfortable. They have tvs and sunglasses for kids to use during their dental appointments and always send kids home with a goody bag and token to use at one of the many vending machines filled with prizes in the lobby.

My daughter had a cavity and the Dentist suggested that instead of just giving my daughter a filling , a white cap would look better aesthetically. Trying to get my daughter to hold still for something that took that long was very challenging. This ended up being a two day procedure. I was not forewarned about how difficult this would be for a child her age. Because , of the difficulty ( she was terrified and it took 3 people to hold her to have this done ) the work wasn't done well. This was done to her two front teeth. Although she only had a cavity on one two both were filed , the affected tooth more . Within months the cap fell off.;(3 months) My daughter rarely smiles with her teeth showing since this happened. Before this she always had a big smile. I have taken her to two Dentist since and been told this was totally unnecessary work that was done to her. I know as a Mom this has impacted her self esteem. I thought this was great two women running a Dental Practice. I was referred to them by my regular dentist. But , now almost a year later I realize what a mistake it was to trust this practice. At her first adult dental appointment, they asked why she had never received any orthodontic care and said she needed to see an orthodontist ASAP. Severe overbite and significant overcrowding that had been getting worse over the course of several years. She is now almost 20 and multiple doctors have told us that she needs 1-2 years of braces and corrective jaw surgery to fix her mouth. I'm not sure why this was overlooked since we asked Dr. Neel several times if she would ever need braces from the time she was little and he always said no. When she was older, we asked about certain things that were abnormal with her teeth/bite and he told us multiple times that there was nothing wrong. I wish he had referred us to an orthodontist while she was under his care so we could have dealt with this earlier. We feel a bit confused on why this issue was never addressed and why this was able to go untreated for so long.

So to have this happen a week later was honestly horrifying. I was in a panic, especially knowing I had to meet with a new client the next day--there was no way I could show up with an exposed tooth. I found this gem of a place through a Google search. The young woman who answered the phone was incredibly empathetic and reassuring, letting me know they could fit me in that same morning--and they did! When I arrived, I was immediately impressed by the beautiful décor, bright colors, and modern setup. They even had a TV over the exam chair where you could watch a movie or listen to music. Best of all, the staff were warm and welcoming. My appointment was at 9:00, and by 9:05 I was already in the chair getting X-rays. Dr. Robinson, one of the two dentists there, was kind, thorough, and worked both quickly and efficiently. I was out of there in under an hour, good as new. If I didn't already love my current dentist, I'd be switching over. And if you're looking for a great dental office--for yourself or your kids (they're a pediatric provider too)--this is the place!

Had to schedule a follow up appointment. It was very easy to schedule the appointment. The orthodontist is only in the office at this location on Fridays. At her last cleaning I was able to get an appointment for this day to get her retainer re sized. Her gums have shrunk a little bit over the years so had to get a new pair. Everyone here is very friendly. They will either email or text you the forms you need to fill out for the visit digitally. I will continue to come here until she reaches adulthood.

During a snowstorm, my appointment was canceled, and no one bothered to call or notify me. I drove 2 hours through hazardous conditions, risking my safety, only to find the Radiology Department closed! It is completely unacceptable for a medical practice to leave patients in the dark like this. Communication is critical, especially in situations like this. A simple phone call, text, or email would have prevented this frustration. This lack of care and professionalism is shocking, especially for a healthcare facility. If you can't even manage basic courtesy, how can patients trust you with their health?
