They grant me a professional courtesy. However, not Story point Libertyville. I showed up at my scheduled appointment for an afternoon tour, and the sales liaison canceled without notifying me first. She didn't give a reason. She claimed she'd sent me an email, but I didn't receive it. I tried rescheduling my appointment through their website. I received a prompt phone call from her saying she knows my role, she had worked in my industry before, and she didn't think I was worth her time. Then she said she did not have any models to show me because they were all full. On prior visits, I noticed the business cards they used to have at the front desk were no longer there. I noticed they had no staff at the front desk most times that I tried to visit to ask a question. Since they have no available rooms, any family seeking to place a loved one will likely be put on a waiting list. Based on this situation, I cannot recommend Story point to any family. Take your money elsewhere.

Activities for residents in Memory care are minimal at best, and if you can believe this, the Health and Wellness Director responded to me when I informed her that the Village of Lake Bluff was under a boil order, that the Sheridan of Green Oaks was exempted by the LCH department from following the order. This is a negligent and irresponsible and potentially dangerous response to residents of the Memory Care Unit and their loved ones. LCH department does not proffer exemptions, only villages can do that. Thankfully we were later informed by the Executive Director, after doing his due diligence, that the water system is through the Village of Green Oaks, not Lake Bluff snd the boil order was not in effect for The Village Of Green Oaks.
