I went in after them and asked the lady at the counter what happened. They wanted coffee and she didn't make any because she said she had only had one customer. No point in making a full pot. Interesting logic. The only food was what was in the glass case. Donuts, kolache (only one kind a giant pig in a blanket), and croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and options for meat - as long as it's in the case. Not a flaky croissant because it's in plastic wrap. Good thing is that she heated up the sandwich and kolache. Not sure this place will be around long so if you like donuts it might be a good option for you. Not sure about the coffee. You take your chance on that.

When on a stop today, I got to experience a hot, white chocolate, mocha, made with oat milk and prepared to my exacting standards. The people working there have proven to be highly attentive on each of our adventures through and extremely friendly and smiling. We look forward to this little midpoint stop. This wasn't the first time I experienced this at that McDonald's. They just hit my no fly list on the several trips I make through Childress. They definitely don't have much concern for quality, and they're definitely not in any hurry to serve.

When served I didn't get my drink so I asked and they said a combo didn't come with a drink. I went back up and ordered a drink and asked if they could expedite it since they didn't give me my drink. 5 minutes later they show up with my drink. My son in law had ordered chili fries and they didn't bring it. When he explained they missed it they claimed it wasn't part of the order. He had to dig his receipt out of the trash to prove it. Emily Grace was the manager on duty so we were told. We have never had an experience like this at a sonic. The food isn't the greatest and the cost is getting higher all the time. You really need to bring your A game if you want to keep customers. Whoever reads this I would say bypass this place and go to one of the other places in town. Management shouldn't make their customers dig in the trash to prove what they ordered.
