We spent the night in the Sea Breeze B and B,which made our trip even more enjoyable.The owners were very warm and friendly.they built this beautiful family home on a plot of land two years ago,and hire rooms to holiday makers.The rooms are modern,clean and fantastically furnished and bathrooms and ensuites beautiful. They provide wi fi and a lovely garden and conservatory to sit ,and the "ulster" fry ,along with juices, breads,toasts,fruit,cereals,tea/coffee was delicious. We stayed in both The White Park Room and The Causeway Suite. Both had skylights, great views of the countryside, and refrigerators. I really liked The Causeway Suite because it had a separate living area and a bathtub in addition to a shower stall. Very well done and my first choice when staying in the Bushmills area!

The service is outstanding and we had a wonderful dinner as well as an Irish Breakfast. Consider, with the history comes old plumbing, so toilets are hard to flush and it takes a long time for them to refill. The showers are tricky with getting the right temperature balance almost impossible. These minor inconveniences are well worth knowing you slept in the footsteps of political giants.

The bathrooms were all updated recently and beautiful. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Denise gave us some tips on local sights, and driving directions to Belfast for a more scenic drive along the water. You may see in other reviews mention of the wheaten bread-delicious! We ate both nights in the restaurant, with pleasant service and good food. Most hotels we stayed in on our trip were corporate-very fine. This place is special.

I came across this place, and to be honet nearly didn't book it, becauase I have never stayed in a hostel before in my life, and didn't think I ever would, however I came across some other reviews online and decided to give it a go, but just for one night, just in case. We arrived and found the place no problem, and got parked in the same street. We went inside and were greeted by the owner who talked us through everything and showed us where everything was. What struck me was how spotless the place was, it was a very highly maintained property, which in my prejudice, I hadn't been excpecting. Our room was basic but has everything we needed, and we had a great time in Portrush at a fraction of the cost!

Prices in the pub were pretty decent, and the menu was broad enough that we didn't regret not going either into town or over to the nicer dining room in the hotel. In the room itself, the shower was nice & hot, the bathroom and tub were spacious, and the amenities-bathrobe and slippers, very comfy. I especially appreciated the towel warmer! So...why only three stars?? This hotel is clearly in flux and it showed. Our room smelled like it had been recently painted and then not aired out-I thought it smelled like paint or varnish, She said it smelled like wet aspirin. It was not overpowering, but opening the windows everyday even when it's not booked would do the room a world of good. The gym was not available, and was in the middle of being "refurbished". I REALLY expect/want to be able to work out at a place like this (it excuses all the vacation eating...and drinking...that I do), especially as the gym is highly touted on the website. BUT, I understand, stuff happens. So put out a dern sign or something announcing the gym closure. I wandered all over the place looking for it, then finally went down to the front desk and asked (see, guys CAN stop and ask for directions...eventually...) the clerk there where it was. That's when I learned that the gym was closed. So there I was, snazzy bright blue running shorts on my manly legs, blinding the entire lobby in their winter whiteness, and I had nowhere to go but back to the room in shame. The food at the breakfast was sub-par. And that's the nicest thing I can say about it. On the plus side again, the coffee/tea/cookies tray in the room was well stocked and had a nice variety, one of the best I've seen. Bottom Line: An open window and an informative sign would make this a 4+ star experience...

What a pleasant surprise to find this oasis of super friendly staff who were on point for every…read morerequest from our group of high school students. The rambling hotel with never ending spaces and types of rooms were inviting and provided plenty of room. There were local activities and frankly the hotel acts like a community center. Zumba, line dancing, and a pub with a huge TV for viewing games or GoT premieres! Grocery is nearby and laundry round the corner made mid-tour replenishing easy. Thank you for making us feel welcome and well fed!
