I would like to begin by saying that this was by far the worst experience with a nail salon I've ever went to. My current salon was closed for days due to remodeling, so I decided to go to Bally's.
It started off with a 50 minute wait with only 3 people in the salon, other than my friend and I.
Once I got checked in the man who was going to do my nails wanted me to show him. So I took the picture on my phone, showed him & explained to him what I wanted. Keep in mind that this was a very simple nail design. It was a matte black on the top of the nail, with a pastel green underneath the point on the nail. I then asked if he could do that & he shook his head. Also I should mention that he never spoke just shook his head yes, so there was clearly a lack on commutation.
Once he began working on my nails he began to get very sloppy. I had asked for pointed ends on my nails which he did but 3 of them are not even and are crooked. When he started to put the acrylic on my nails he got the glue all over my hands which I had to peel off once I got home. I also want to point out that he did not clean the excess glue underneath the nail which left the nails looking very dirty.
After he had the acrylic on my nails and they had dried he came back and began to paint. The painting of the black on the top of the nail was very sloppy & got on the sides of my hands. He did two coats of black on my nails which did not cover all of the nails. He also cut corners while doing my nails. He didn't apply a primer & he didn't seal the tips of my nails either.
When the black had finished drying he came back & asked his other employee if he could do that in their own language. The other employee then said in English that he could NOT do that because it would look UGLY. He actually said "ugly." Then he began to say "it would show on top of the nail." I then tried to explain that their was black on the top of the nail so it wouldn't show through. I also mentioned to him that the person doing my nails said he could do it before he even began doing anything on my nails. Then, neither one of the workers replied or communicated to me, the man doing my nails put the pastel green up and the other employee sat back down & started working with his customer.
The man doing my nails then put a top coat on one of my nails & I interrupted asking if their was a matte top coat like he had said he had before in the beginning. He IGNORED me & looked back down at my nails & did a VERY sloppy top coat & then sat me down at the UV lighting for my nails to dry.
It's been 3 days and the polish on my nails are already chipping & they are not glued on very well.
Overall, this was a horrendous experience & I hope that no one ever has the same experience I had here. I would definitely suggest ANY other nail salon other than this one.
In conclusion, horrible experience, never coming back & will never suggest this salon to anyone else either. read more
