I can understand it being due to the lower enrollment at this studio, but this should have been communicated to us after the May Recital, NOT the day after the Summer Showcase and still let us sign up for classes TODAY! Yes - the same day the email was sent out! This has left us absolutely scrambling for other studios for our girls, since a lot of the studios have already been filled up or auditions for intensive programs already completed. These girls have been going for years and to not have the decency to let us know farther in advance is unfathomable.

I have friends at other studios that are frustrated with the lack of communication and quality of training they are receiving there but I have always been so impressed with Marianne Kelley's attention to detail and organization. The studio is bright and welcoming as are all of the instructors and students. You feel supported and valued as a dancer. The variety of classes offered are second to none. The atmosphere in the studio is so positive. In a world where negativity is constantly thrown at us and our children I am so grateful to have somewhere to take my kids where they have a sense of belonging. I came early, went to the wrong side of the mall and had to run to class. I ended up being two minutes late, the door was locked, and they had a sign blocking the door as well. I stood there for a second waiting to get in, but then someone shooed me away!! This was last week. One other time I booked, they canceled class the night before, and now when I want to actually go they wouldn't let me in? Huge disappointment. I'm a regular class passer and have NEVER been somewhere where there isn't a five minute grace period. And to lock people out?! I really hope they fix some things because this is isn't normal. Surely there are lots of people who have trouble finding this spot. It's in a MALL. Please do better

They make dancing fun for any level. My first interaction with them was a free tango class at a PR event. Their dance and teaching chemistry left me in awe. I knew I wanted to take classes with them at some point. Fast forward to end of 2025. My fiancé (who "does not dance") fell in love with tango after a free trial. I adore dancing so was super excited he was interested. We ended up signing up for their Super Beginner Easy Start Course Tango class that took it as a slow pace for non-dancers. This was the perfect intro. We then decided to sign up for their monthly tango membership where we take their Level 100 classes. At this time, they have Level 100 classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm. After class they do a really cool technique class called Tango Power Start. This place is more than a dance studio, it's a community. They offer milongas too (an Argentine social dance event). My fiancé and I are the type of people who like being able to walk or bus to a place, we live in the city and this is in Midlothian. We love this studio so much that the drive is worth it for us. I highly recommend taking tango classes here. You'll learn so much and have lots of fun in the process.
