Well, I broke my wrist and was unable to do so. A day and half before the party I found Dream Ark via an internet search. I sent an email inquiry and was immediately contacted by Roza. Miraculously she said she could do the job even with short notice. We discussed design ideas and colors. I then sent her photos of the party room. The day of the party Roza and her partner arrived 4 hours before party time and installed the most stunning balloon decorations and backdrop. After the party they came back and collected everything. I found parking at the post office. Once you cross the street you would climb the back metal stairs to this space located on the second floor. This is a female owned natural light studio for photography. I will definitely like to check out their services in the near future as I can always use a new professional head shot for work. The area where you walk in was a complete disaster, it looked like a construction zone. She called frantic, and I told her not to worry- Tony's got this (and crossed my fingers). Everything was phenomenal. All my wife's tiny personal touches came to life with Tony's over-the-top pomp and show. The reception room was magical. A few things that went wrong: 1- one of the boutonnieres fell apart and there was no replacement 2- there were supposed to be two floral crowns - one was never taken out of the box 3- My wife and I chose blue flowers- Tony suggested some pink for a "pop" of color- we agreed and the room was full of pink flowers - and not very many blue at all... One thing that every bride should remember is to ask for a throw away bouquet during the bouquet toss. My wife forgot- threw her own, and the girl who caught it -well she never gave it back of course. So- don't make this mistake ask for a throw-away bouquet. We had to have a second bridal bouquet made for pictures a few days after the wedding- we called Tony and explained that the photographer was taking us to the park- and he made another one up for us no problem.

Unreliable, inconsiderate, and grossly lacking in professionalism…read more I sought out Uplyte back in September 2010 to do the lighting for my wedding in April 2011. An estimate was drawn up and we established a plan to meet two months later in late November to do a demo of the lighting at my wedding venue. Now keep in mind that I'm from San Francisco, CA and the wedding in Florida is a destination wedding so I am not local and can only fly out a few times. We meet in November only for Uplyte to tell me on the day of the supposed demo that they can't do the demo because they have another event and have no lights to show. Since we intended to come out one more time, we were flexible and figured we'd catch them on the next go round. So in early January, we set up a meeting time for February 21st to do the demo again. Uplyte waited until Thursday the 17th (1 day before we were slated to fly out to Florida) to inform us that they are not open on Presidents day, even though we had made the appointment for the 21st back in early January and they knew we were flying out for our last vendor visit. So on two occasions we flew out to Florida (5+ hour flight) and they canceled with little or no notice. It's now less than two months before the wedding, wish us luck in finding a new lighting company for our event. We didn't get so much as an apology from this company and I have to say I haven't experienced this level of unprofessionalism ever. I guess doing your homework seven months early doesn't really payoff all the time. Hope this helps the next person/business - Cheers!
