When the team member arrived to set it up he suggested we keep it and the equipment until the Monday after Halloween. I laughed thinking it would never hold up. You get what you pay for when using ballonatics. The balloon arches I ordered were beautiful! I was expecting something completely different based on past experiences with other companies. They don't use the cheap ribbon and stick them on there, they use quality strong string. The arches each had a pretty wrapped brick at the end of them, balloons were all the same size, had a beautiful curled ribbon hanging from each balloon. My son's 5th birthday during a pandemic was actually a success. We did a drive-by celebration and I wanted the yard to be exciting for him. He loves dinosaurs so I called Balloonatics and they said ABSOLUTELY, we did one a few weeks ago. They sent me the pics and this thing was over 6 feet tall! This is not a review on the design work but the horrible communication experience. I actually used them a year ago for a birthday party and was happy with the balloons and tried to use them again. I e-mailed Aldijjana and showed her the picture of the designs from last year and just asked for an updated design (new birth number). I never received a response. I called the office to confirm availability for the date and time of my party and was told it was available and I'd see the balloon options in e-mail. I responded right away and didn't get a response. I had called the office again to just reserve the date and finalize the design, and was told I would get an update in e-mail. Again another day went by and I didn't receive anything so I sent a follow up, then received an invoice from their accounting system quickbooks with the details that we had agreed to/discussed on a Friday. The following Tuesday, I sent an e-mail just to say I was excited to see them, but then Aldijana responded and said I responded too late and lost my spot and the invoice was sent on accident instead of a quote to confirm. After a discussion on what happened, she then told me that confirming on that Friday would've been too late anyway because they were booked..as if it was my fault for not staying on top of it. 1) The e-mail never asked me to confirm a quote or an estimate, I received an INVOICE. Especially since I received an invoice after I called and said I wanted to make my reservation, there was nothing that asked or would have prompted me to have to confirm back 2) I started this process on 5/7/22 and was declined a reservation on 5/24 after a lot of back and forth and multiple follow up e-mails and phone calls from me 3) Aldijana did end up calling me back and telling her manager would do me the favor to squeeze me in and it is nearly impossible to do it but they would do it - it made me feel really awful as if the lack of communication and response from THEM was my fault and they were accommodating my demands. I just told them to forget it. Overall, my experience over the last 3 weeks was lackluster but ended extremely unpleasant when I was timely in trying to finalize everything (and confirmed there was availability each time I was on the phone). I will not do business with them again. Worst of all, there was no acknowledgement on any miscommunication or mess up on their end, the only 'excuse' being that their e-mail has a lot of spam so they don't check it regularly. read more

Super easy to work with, delivered all my balloons early, and they were high quality balloons. The theme of my daughter's first birthday party was "Up" so we needed a lot of balloons. When I reached out to them by email, they responded really quickly. Very professional and transparent. Even though they're based in the South Bay, they were able to deliver to Fremont. On the day of the party, the balloons were delivered early and the delivery guy was really friendly even though I accidentally gave them the wrong address. The balloons themselves were simple - just a lot of plain helium balloons in different colors. But I really liked that they were large and didn't deflate right away. I have used balloonatics for over 20 years. Balloons just add so much to every event. They fill the room with joy. I've always enjoyed getting balloons from them. I would say the only downside is if they don't have in stock what you ordered (specific style of ballon), THEY will make the decision about what to replace it with. I may have received everything I ordered (string of pearls, center pieces and flowers) but the balloons I wanted in my order were substituted for other styles. I'd still use them again and recommend them because balloons are so much festive. I couldn't figure out how high of a rating I should give because I love balloons but I was disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered. Waiting to resolve the discrepancies with them personally. Really, I'm only looking for an acknowledgment and commitment to be in communication with their customers when they don't have something in stock.
