He reached out advertising his services, sounded extremely interested in taking on my case, and made it seem like I had a strong chance at a positive outcome. He assured me he would handle everything thoroughly and professionally. Unfortunately, hiring him was a complete waste of time and money. From start to finish, I felt like nothing was actually done to defend me. I ultimately lost the case and ended up in the exact same position I was in before hiring him except now I was out thousands of dollars in legal fees. There was no strategy, no proactive communication, and no meaningful action taken that changed the outcome. I constantly had to reach out for updates. I rarely received proactive communication. Each time we spoke, I had to repeat the same information over and over again because he didn't seem to remember previous conversations. It felt incredibly disorganized and frustrating, especially during an already stressful legal situation. When I first contacted the office, his secretary was on vacation, so he was answering the phones himself. During that call, he struggled to take down basic information like my email address, repeatedly getting frustrated and saying, "This is a woman's job. I shouldn't have to be doing this". "This is why I keep messing up. This job is for women." I was shocked by how unprofessional and inappropriate those comments were. Instead of focusing on helping a potential client, he was visibly irritated and making sexist remarks. Throughout the case, I felt like I had to manage him rather than the other way around. I was constantly following up, reminding him of details, and pushing for progress. Even then, nothing meaningful seemed to get done. The experience was stressful, disorganized, and disappointing. After going through this, I later learned that others have had similar issues, which unfortunately makes sense based on my experience. When you hire an attorney during a difficult time, you're placing trust in someone to guide and advocate for you. Instead, this experience made an already overwhelming situation far worse. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Save your time, money, and peace of mind.

I knew divorce could be expensive, and because my situation was relatively straightforward, I wasn't sure whether hiring an attorney was even necessary. My friend reassured me that Daniel's team was not only excellent at what they do, but also incredibly fair and genuinely focused on helping clients rather than running up legal fees. Now that my divorce is finalized, I can look back and say how grateful I am for their guidance, support, and the overall outcome. They were always responsive, took the time to address my concerns, and made a difficult process go as smoothly as possible. What impressed me even more was their integrity when it came to billing. I fully expected the legal fees to exceed my initial retainer. Instead, everything was handled so efficiently that I actually received a refund for the unused portion. That says a lot about how they operate. Divorce is never an easy experience, but having the right people in your corner makes a tremendous difference. I'm genuinely grateful to Daniel and his team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing legal representation.

The Great Working with my lawyer Janel Cisneros has been fantastic. She is professional, punctual, keeps her word, and follows up on everything. She was everything I was hoping for in a lawyer, and would I absolutely work with her in the future. Highly recommended! 5/5 The okay The paralegals were very respectful and nice, I'll give them that. But there were some issues with them being asked to make a call or get a form, and then they just don't do it. It was frustrating to say the least, as I had to do a lot of the calling around and legwork in the early parts of the case when I was still recovering. Roswill and Lisa were great, but with the others there were issues. 4/5 The bad Towards the end of my case, I had some legal questions that were not a specialty of my lawyer, so she recommended another lawyer her firm works with named David Don. After calling over a few weeks, so scoffed at me, told me it was unfortunate what happened, but he just didn't want the case. A simple no would of been fine, but this guy just wanted to insult me, and was as rude as possible. This is a BIG red mark on The Husband and Wife Law Firm. Associating with someone who treats your clients like that is very insulting, and makes me question where this law firms morals are. My lawyer apologized later, but still a huge F for both here and Mr. Don. 0/5 Well, after a very long wait I was able to experience working with multiple people in this law firm. Janel was a rockstar, the paralegals have a lot to work with, but need a bit of tweaking on following through (except Roswill and Lisa). The David Don incident was a bad stain on my opinion of this place. But overall I'm giving this place a solid 4/5. I'm putting in 5/5 because yelp giving this place 3 point whatever is way too low, and they honestly deserve something in the 4-5 range. 5/5 range if they stop recommending David Don. Thanks again Janel and say hi to Roswill for me. Enjoy the gift! Edit: I received a call from someone working at the firm to inform me they are no longer recommending Mr. Don, nor are they working with his firm. This is 5/5 attitude to have and makes me want to recommend this place more. See a problem and fix it. Not put a band-aid on it, but fix it. Well done H&W LT.

I wish I could give this review a -5, because the more that this goes on...the more I realize that…read morethis firm took $2500.00 from me and did NOTHING...I mean NOTHING at all. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE CON-ARTIST! I am embarrassed that I hired these guys to represent me. My Father had passed away, and by surprise there was no will...the next step was to hire a probate lawyer to help us figure out what would happen to our Fathers ROTH IRA retirement funding. Well, apparently my Step-Mom who was married to my Dad less than 5 years tried to go behind our backs and request that she be (PR) and have full control to obtain the money and pocket it. My Brother found Keyt Law, which was an okay firm...I guess I just rolled with it because we were desperate and only had $2500.00 to spare and I thought we found honest caring people that would help our situation because I had no issues with my Dad and I clearly had no idea why he did not make a will. Also, I was not sure why he did not leave my Step-Mom as a beneficiary so she could just control it if that was the case, but to her surprise she was not. After we hired Norman Keyt to represent us he was responsive and attentive at first, but as soon as we signed the check over to the firm it was day and night with communication. I remember at one point leaving a voice-mail and NEVER getting a returned call to help me with the situation and keep me up to date with what was going on with my Fathers estate. I am not saying I deserve that money either, because I was not a beneficiary as well and for anyone reading this review can think when it comes to money everyone becomes greedy, but this is not the case...I just wanted a fair shake and I know that Keyt Law and the firm were "Just doing their Job," and nothing can be taken personal, but you can't help but get a little emotional and feel defeated when you hire someone to help and assist you and you really feel that they didn't help you, but rather they took your money, sent a few emails, and called it a day. I would not recommend ANYONE to this firm because they will eat up your money and NEVER call you, unless you fork over more funding to them...then you might get an extra email sent out to you, which probably runs about $500.00 bucks, so use it wisely. The phrase, "You live and learn" is very true to this situation because even the Lawyer on my Step-Mom's side made an error, but guess who was charged for that mistake? You guessed it, we were! How is that even possible? My Step-Mom's Lawyer stated that my brother and I had given up our rights by written notice...by WRITTEN notice which I know for a fact that I did not have anything in writing stating that I have given up my rights to have her in charge and be PR, but somehow they found a letter from us stating that we did? Huh...I guess I shouldn't be surprised at all because when looking up my Step-Mom's social multiple names come up along with her name being different as well. Good luck to anyone who hires these guys...I hope you have a better experience than my Brother and I.

Michelle was great at quickly communicating with any new information and keeping me on track. She was able to get my warrant quashed very quickly and was able to get me into court two weeks later. Originally I was given supervised probation but we found out that as an out of state resident I would not have been able to go home. Upon finding this out Michelle dropped everything and rushed to the courthouse to get me on the docket that morning and was able to convince the judge to change it to unsupervised with just enough time to still make my flight home and continue with an out of state move I was in the middle of making for work.
