This is a European grocery store /bakery specifically focused on Bulgarian grocery and a mix of Balkan food and pastries. There is one or two table outside. I ordered Bulgarian Kufte with salad. The portion is big given the price. If you are not hungry, you can save some for dinner. I really like the food. But, like others mentioned , the front desk girl seems to be not interested in addressing customers. She was mostly on phone while ordering. So I'm giving 4 stars.

This Bulgarian cafe & grocery store is an awesome mom and pop store. We came here 3x now and they have consistently delivered. The cashiers were welcoming, informative and ready to share what's in their menu. I can't say I've had Bulgarian food before, so I can't speak on the authenticity but I like good food and they're good! Their chicken risotto is freshly made hot, in store or togo, and packed with plenty of chicken. Their paninis are excellent also, they boast about their coconut fries/chips - they're unique and we enjoyed them. The sausage wasnt my cup of tea. But their blueberry mascarpone is delicious! We'll have to try their fig mascarpone and Ferrero Rocher cake next! Overall, we plan to come back to try more items and buy some snacks!

This little locally owned international grocery store is a cute little place to check out in Chesterfield. Located in a plaza, this little unassuming place is full of delicious imported goods as well as offers a small but delicious lunch menu of gyros, paninis and salads. I tried the caprese panini which came with fries and it was very good! Excellent value for $9.99 and quite filling! They do have a small place with table and chairs for dining in. I could easily spend an hour in here just browsing the shelves and the coolers and freezers to check out the array of offerings they have from imported chocolates, ready made frozen meals and chilled cheeses and imported meats which are perfect for charcuterie. The next time you are in the area, check out this independent small business international grocery store and café!

I picked up a super fresh gyro salad for carryout and they boxed the hot gyro meat separately - what a thoughtful touch! Plentiful fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and gyro meat served with the best tzaziki I've ever had. There were julienned cucumbers and tons of fresh dill in it that made it taste just awesome- yum! I enjoyed shopping in the frozen food section and dry goods area and picked up some interesting looking Caponata and a Romanian sausage that I'm really looking forward to trying out on my charcuterie board during my next winery visit. It's getting warmer and I'm making plans to spend as much time outside as possible! This little shop is tucked away in Woodchase shopping center just off 364/141 and Olive. I highly recommend. Give this small family business your business please! #shopsmallstl #shopsmallbiz #shoplocal

    Greek Gyro add Feta

I stopped here on a Thursday evening and picked up dinner to bring home. I ordered the gyro (no tomato add feta) with French fries. My dinner date ordered just gyro meat and a slice of baklava. While we were waiting for our order we perused the attached grocery. Great stuff in there! They carry my favorite Milka bars from Romania. It's dangerously close to home. They also carry a nice variety of other Balkan groceries with an emphasis on Bulgarian items such as feta and yogurt. I thought the gyro was great. We both liked the meat. I loved the tzatziki and the feta they gave me a large cup of on the side. I was not a fan of the French fries. Just your basic freezer bag crinkle cut. There are a few other things I'd like to try on the menu and if you are a regular around here you know I love a good gyro. Also looking forward to trying some of the desserts they make. The food was ready quickly and the service is friendly! I'll be back!

I can't say enough good things about this excellently curated Eastern European and Balkan store. For anyone that understands good food such as Bulgarian feta, French butter, Bosnian sausages, Russian dumplings, there is no better store that I find in the area. For anyone that has nostalgia for Soviet canned or baked goods, again, there is no equal to this curated collection. Last but not least is the restaurant itself. A decently sized menu that is somewhat vegetarian friendly. While there was nothing wrong with the dish I chose, I would likely try something else next time, maybe one of the salads. I look forward to coming back here.

WOW! What a find! This is a great little deli and market that has an extensive menu of sandwiches and foods of my heritages. Great stuff. I had the lamb gyro that was excellent. The baklava was a super generous portion washed down with a nice cod Croatian beer. The market is well stocked too with breads of rye, black and others and cans of Riga sprats that are delicious, even frozen pirogies. This place is worth the visit. Great service and staff. Will definitely be back. Come here for a great meal.

Very good portions on their dishes, served quickly from the kitchen. Overall, a 3.75+ rated experience for me on food quality/quantity, food presentation, attentive service and relaxed dine-in setting. Expect to pay ~$12-20 for entrees. Tortilla Chips were brought to our table with house-made mild Salsa. I was expecting (hoping) warmed chips but they were not; however I did request "hot" (spicy) Salsa and they provided their homemade one upon request, YUM! Also, the bar menu included Margarita's, beers and other specialty drinks. For starters, tried the Queso Fundido with melted Cheese, Chorizo and Poblano Peppers. Served warm, it was a thick and tasty cheese dip with very good flavors - enjoyed the chunkiness of sausage and peppers, but hoped for more Queso Chihuahua cheese in the dip. For entrees, we ordered Santa Fe Salad with Chicken, Chile Verde, and Tacos Quesabirrias. All 3 dinners were different and enjoyed. The Salad was tasty and having added grilled chicken made it balanced with veggie and protein. The Chile Verde had very tender pork, with a Verde (green) sauce that wasn't as spicy and bold flavored as I expected, but still very good to eat. I think the Quesabirrias (beef) Tacos were the BEST of the 3 dishes, having crisp corn tortillas, fresh mexican Chihuahua cheese and beef birria with chopped onion, cilantro and tomatillo sauce on side, excellent meal!! Being my initial visit, I want to come back to try other items that looked enticing on their menu. Definitely think I had a worthy experience, so ENJOY!

There is a good sized patio out front on the parking lot. The inside also has a fair amount of seating - seats at the bar, high top tables, and regular tables. It was pretty warm, so we dined inside. Our server was Angie and she was great! She was very friendly and spent a few minutes talking to us about menu items. She also checked up on us throughout our time there to make sure everything tasted good, etc. We ordered drinks and then got serious about ordering. So many things sounded really good, but decisions were finally made. We shared loaded tots to start. They were good, but the word "loaded" is a stretch. There should have been more toppings in the tots. I know the photo looks like there's a lot, but there wasn't much cheese sauce, sour cream, or bacon. My husband got the smoked wings and said they were really good! I got two tacos - one brisket and one bbq shrimp. They were okay. The shrimp taco was pretty good, but it had a little too much sauce on the shrimp and it overpowered the other flavors. The brisket was extremely dry. We'll more than likely be back!

The brisket was delicious and not fatty, while the turkey was also tasty and not dry. My only complaint was the pulled chicken, which I felt like was dry and didn't have much flavor to it. For the sides, I went with the Mac and cheese and the green beans - both of which had great flavor and served as excellent companions to the main entree. Then for dessert, I wrapped it up with a sourdough chocolate chip cookie, which I found to be uniquely tasty. I will definitely be coming back here, and will for sure be going with double brisket plus the turkey for my three meats, instead of the pulled chicken. But overall another great addition to the vast lineup of Manchester Rd food options.

I was disappointed, if not surprised, to see that this wasn't an anachronistically sexist '00s-era…read moretheme restaurant à la Hooters or Tilted Kilt. Otherwise, I have no notes. This place makes a good cheeseburger. Well, maybe a few notes. I figured I'd get either a beer or a milkshake with my burger. I didn't see any milkshakes on the menu, so that made my decision to drink easy enough. Not that I needed one. I did see a number of ridiculous-sounding desserts, including something called a bacon cookie. But technically I'm training for a marathon, the fact that I'm out here drinking beer and eating ginormous cheeseburgers notwithstanding. Also, it cost like $10. I'll never truly recover from just what I paid for my burger and fries. But trust that I will be back, if only to see what some of these things even are. I might try the entire menu before it's all said and done with. We can only hope that this place doesn't suffer the same fate as the Pi that was in this same location. Keep Barack Obama as far away from here as possible. His successor Joe Brandon's influence is evident in the pricing. Burgers will run you upwards of $20, but they do come with free fries. Uh, thank you? Well, I guess they come with a free side. You could opt for applesauce, if you want to. I had to talk a girl I was with (but not really "with," natch) out of getting the applesauce. She's welcome. You're also given the option of getting your fries dusted with herbs and Parmesan cheese. One of the guys from my running group got that and seemed to love it, to a degree that was honestly kinda gross. They do the thing like at Five Guys where they give you a truly insane amount of fries as if they're doing you a favor, like they didn't just run your pockets. The fries are roughly the same size and shape as the fries at McDonald's, and they're nearly as good, which is the highest compliment you can pay anything. The burgers are on another level. They're ginormous steakhouse burgers, rather than the smash burgers that are all the rage everywhere else and have been since Mumford & Sons were climbing the charts and guys were walking around dressed like lumberjacks. The beef is just ground chuck, not some weird blend containing short rib, filet mignon and what have you. But it must be a good-quality ground chuck. That cow must have been fed only the finest industrial waste and words of encouragement. You're given the option of selecting your own toppings, like at a Fuddruckers, or ordering one of their bizarre-sounding specialty burgers. I like the idea of building my own burger, but picking the right toppings would have been entirely too anxiety inducing. It may have caused me to have to go on those meds they give members of Gen Z who spent too much time on TikTok. I'm already dealing with body-image issues as it is. The problem with such elaborately crafted menu items is that it's hard to know what any of them are really like without seeing and tasting them. What if I ordered the En Fuego and it came out looking like an actual pile of garbage put together by someone who, uh... doesn't have any business making sandwiches? That's kinda what it sounds like. I figured I'd go with one of the small handful of specialty burgers that had bacon on them, and I landed on the Ride the Lightning. In addition to the bacon, er, maple candied bacon, it comes with some sort of blueberry compote and a brie spread that turns all gooey due to the warmth of the burger. It looks positively inappropriate when they bring it out to you, and it's got a taste to match. No Diddy. The blueberry jam or whatever, which seems like it might be kinda weird, really sets it off. The bacon, which, on a burger, can be an afterthought, was great. Surprisingly, all of the toppings serve to accentuate the flavor of the meat, rather than cover it up. As ridiculous as some of these menu items sound, they seem to have put real thought into them. They're not out here playing games.

I'm typically a smash burger person, this one is huge to me and it was cooked really really well. Perfect medium. The extras come mostly come on the side unless they are cooked which I appreciate. I did mark spring mix and didn't get any, but really made no difference. (I did order cheese and took it off as it didn't look appealing to me) The Texas toast was the best part for me although the bottom half was soggy, I ate both top half's and saved the others for leftovers. The fries were wonderfully hot. BBQ sauce was okay. Overall a cool meal.
