I'm a sucker for Filipino food. There are multiples times when my cravings would just consist of Bicol Express or Kare-Kare or Grilled Squid, and I would just be thinking of those for the rest of the day. What makes Filipino food so great for me aside from it being delicious is the fact that it's simple, it's affordable, and it's best shared with family or friends. Balinsasayaw hits all of that for me. It's classic Filipino cuisine with no fuss and servings are generous. Not to mention, it's deliciously made classic Filipino cuisine. I distinctly remember stuffing myself silly with all the food we ordered because we ordered A LOT. The Balinsasayaw Soup is basically a seafood chowder, and it was warm and delicious. The Kare-Kare wasn't stingy with its meat and the sauce was fantastic, best slathered in loads of rice. The Crispy Pata was tender and juicy, just the way you would want it.
