Moving to north america at my teenage year, I often crave for the good old fashioned Malay food. Selections are quite limited in Vancouver, with most chains serving fusion instead of true Malay food. We get chicken satay as appetizer and duck as main (come with rice or eggs fried rice.).
The bubur was a childhood dessert I haven't had for almost a decade or two and taste as good as I remembered them to be. We also ordered nasi lemak with beef rendang and sweet shrimp and veggies. They are so yummy and big. I'm glad we found this hidden gem walking around the small street of spain. Vancouver, take notice! read more
