Brent was awesome from the beginning of my contacting his company, until he had finished his job…read more He came out to give us a quote on a bathroom sink that wasn't draining. The pipes had already been cleaned under the sink, but it turned out there was a blockage in some old pipes in the wall. He came back the next day and opened up the wall in a bedroom behind the sink in the bathroom. He was able to clean out the pipes and replace a pipe that had been corroded and ended up breaking during the auger process. Brent and his coworker worked quickly to diagnose the problem and also cleaned up everything before leaving. I was very impressed with his work ethic and thoroughness with the job, as well as his honesty regarding what needed to be done. He gives a two hour window when he is coming to allow you to plan your day and his time for scheduling is very reasonable and not far out. Sometimes same day, or a few days later, depending on the situation. I will definitely call Brent again when I have plumbing problems that need to be fixed.

They got on top of my second-story roof, drove back to their warehouse for the correct replacement part (capacitor), and had it fixed on 1.5 hrs. Very thorough. Very helpful. Paid $319 out the door.

I also liked how good they are at explaining the issue and genuinely took the time. They also gave me consulting and estimate for my old water heater replacement. I trust their advise and will definitely get my water heater from Pando Plumbing.

He did that free of charge since he had the part in his van....should I have admitted that!! Taylor was great at his job and I will definitely hire Valley in the future. Thank you Taylor. Ellen J

Nick was so understanding and made me feel like they were really going to take care of this issue. After 3 days of Dalton, Yasin and Coby digging, countless troubleshooting, and extreme patience they were able to finally get us back up and running. They even went above and beyond and repaired additional damage that had happened during the ordeal and took the remaining carpet out that we are now replacing. I am so happy they corrected their issue instead of saying "It's out of warranty" and leaving us with a disaster. Also, my dog made new friends along the way. Thanks guys!

I've been a Scott Hale customer for many years now. They've done many jobs for me and they also…read morereplaced my water heater, furnace and AC unit when they conked out. The old furnace went out the day before Thanksgiving one year, and they had a new one installed and running the same day. I appreciate the employees who have provided good service over the years. In the beginning I referred friends to SH, saying they are not necessarily cheap but they do good work. (Looking back, I realize however that I overpaid for the new water heater and other some other major expenses, I was just naïve and didn't do due diligence. More about overcharging below.) That being said, I've given up on SH. Too often my encounters with its employees go wrong. The person they send may or may not have experience with my issue, and they never ask for help from other employes. One recommended I have a new air intake installed (he came twice and couldn't get rid of the awful noise) and when I finally got a different guy over, he fixed the whistling noise just by recaulking the area; it was gone in minutes. Another guy made excuses for the (unsupervised) people who ripped up large patches of drywall because they didn't know to go through an interior wall; SH paid for the extra drywall repairs, which I appreciated. Another guy freaked out about the "sewage" he imagined must be under the board beneath my sink (there was none). Another couldn't tolerate me saying that I had never had a leaky condensation pipe until they replaced the AC. My 10+ years in my home meant nothing, and this is consistent: many times the repairmen will not give credence to anything I say, and however neutrally I state it, react as if I'm challenging them in some way. The latest incident is the $1800 estimate for replacing my kitchen sink (labor only). The guy said it would take 2-3 hours to remove the old sink (!!) and added that he would "cap the pipes" so I wouldn't lose water to the rest of house. I mean, there's upselling and then there's just BS. The plumber I hired removed the old sink in 20 mins and is charging a few hundred dollars for the whole job (including installing the new one). And of course the water to the house didn't have to be shut off, there are valves right under the sink. I'm really appalled they would just...lie.

Over many years we have used OWH for two replacement cycles of our two heaters. Dan is very honest…read moreand straightforward, and extremely knowledgeable about water heaters. This week we had an issue with one of our heaters, and Dan and Allie came with a $300 repair kit and a $1,600 replacement water heater. Dan quickly saw that the gas valve replacement kit would solve the issue and immediately went that route. Eight years ago Dan revealed the "secrets" of making a good water heater last a good long time: 1. Keep the temperature setting constant, even if leaving the house for an extended period. This keeps the water tank from contracting and expanding due to changes in water temps. 2. Check the anode yearly and change when necessary. Owner manuals tell how and why. 3. Run household water softener systems at the lowest possible setting. Such systems are the enemy of water heaters. OWH's prices are below others I have checked. Water heaters are very expensive in Utah now because of our rules requiring ultra-low NOX heaters to be used in accordance with California regulations (yes, California). After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I appreciate Kyle was on time and that the service was professional and efficient.
