It's a train station. Not much to say. It's clean most of the time. Parking is a pain. The staff that is there are friendly professional.

Home. I went to…read moreschool right here for my entire childhood. Though the idea of hopping on a train had always frightened me, I became desensitized by how often we'd hear the train TOOT TOOT in the middle of our exams. I did get mooned here once in 4th grade because the people waiting at the train station, 3 of them, decided to pull their pants down. The Centre Avenue school playground is right next to this station. There is only a metal wire fence separating the two. We got so many assemblies informing us about the dangers of the third rail because of this station. Although it may be convenient to have a station here, the Centre Avenue station is 50 cents more expensive than Lynbrook to get to Penn Station and doesn't have as many trains running through there because the only line that passes through it is the Long Beach Line. I prefer the Lynbrook station because more often than not, my destination is either Penn or Woodside, in which case the Babylon AND Long Beach lines can take me. A few more minutes of walking can save 50 cents a ride! Unlike the Lynbrook station, this station doesn't have a booth to talk to someone for help with buying a ticket and also doesn't have a bathroom. The Centre Avenue station has many food places nearby if you hop off and are hungry. One down side to having a train station right next to a school, both Centre Ave. and the high school is that people that live on the opposite side of the school are frequently late to school because of it. I'm blessed enough to never have to deal with either tracks, but I have friends that were always late because of it. The station has one plastic hut to stand inside, the bench that is on the platform is outside, so you get to choose between standing inside or sitting in the sun/rain/snow.

We ordered mozzarella sticks and boneless honey barbecue wings to start. The wings deff lacked a bit of the bbq flavor, wings were average, but good to start with. They come with bleu cheese. Carving station was great. Children's selection also very good. French toast bites, eggs, chicken fingers Mac and cheese. Fried calamari was cold. Baked clams were gross. Totally chopped up , couldn't taste a clam at all and had some kind of stringy cheese in it. Disappointing desert selection. Service was kind of non existent. We had to ask for water and glasses!! I think they must be better for their rooftop events. It was also pretty empty which to me was a sign.

You get what you pay for. STAY AWAY…read more Two of the worst driver experiences ever. For the trip to the airport, Lawrence E. showed up early and was rushing us the whole time. When we got to the car, instead of saying hi or being professional, he rudely told us we were making him late because he had to go to Smithtown after us. Then, he drove us to the WRONG AIRPORT. For the trip back, I got a text from Damian Smith when we landed, telling us he was running late. I appreciated the heads-up. He said it would be about 35 minutes, which would have been only a short wait for us after getting our bags, but it ended up being over an hour and 40 minutes. We kept checking in with phone calls and texts and he always said he was very close and would be there soon. At one point he said he had stopped to get gas. Then he said he was very close and that we should come outside. So we waited another ten minutes in the cold with our newborn baby after a 2 hour flight and he still wasn't there. I called him and demanded to know where he was, explaining that my newborn was cold and hungry and he hung up on me. Not knowing what else to do, I called the company to complain and cancel the ride. Just as he was pulling up, the company hung up on me. Damian now wants to talk to me "man to man". He said the safety of his passengers is his number one priority and that he had to get his wheel fixed, as if I should have both known that was what was really going on, and that I should have been grateful that was the reason he was late, instead of doing the right thing and letting us and the company know so other arrangements could be made. He denied hanging up on me. And felt he had to explain that he was in the right because the wheel needed to be fixed. He also told us he had to drive to Canada the next day. When he got us home, he said "See? You're home safe." As if he was a hero. Worst experience ever.

I would beware of this service, everyone. I scheduled a ride to the airport and when I realized…read morethat I had given them the wrong number for me (since I'd just switched SIM cards) I called just to let them know, and someone really - out of sorts answered the phone. Like they were trying to be funny or something, but it was just violently loud and obnoxious and scary. Why would I be alone in a car with someone for over an hour if they were associated with a manager that unstable? Why would someone at dispatch answer the phone by screaming loudly in someone's ear? I was so surprised that I instantly hung up without so much as uttering, "wtf....?" Scary. Going to schedule an Uber and a Lyft and hope for the best even though it's a 3 am pickup.

They charge $5 for every bag at curbside check-in; and they got rid of the check-in counters inside, and force people to do their own check-in and bag tags via a kiosk..... then, without any guidance or signs or helpful customer service teams, you (as the paying customer) have to find a baggage handler who can double-check your "check-in luggage" and scan your boarding passes and your ids and then weigh your bags and finally push them through the belt. It's a f*cking hot mess. People all over the place, getting frustrated, not knowing which way to go; not knowing who to ask; not knowing how to proceed. WHY NOT JUST HAVE A NORMAL CHECK-IN COUNTER/line and stop the madness!?! :( It's no wonder all the JetBlue customer service team are GROUCHY AF and all of them act like they HATE their lives. Zero smiles, zero customer service and no care whatsoever. The JetBlue I knew and loved is LONG GONE...... this process SUCKS. And after wasting almost an hour just to check-in our luggage (yes, the lines were that SLOW) --the so-called "PRIORITY LANE" takes another hour just to go through TSA check. JFK/Jetblue should DO BETTER!! BE BETTER!! We're all paying you top dollar for your so-called "excellent customer service" --WHERE DID IT GO?!? The only reason we put 2 stars is because the TSA agent was funny and tried to be positive......a big thank you to him. And another star for our flight attendant who was super friendly and polite. She was the ONLY ONE (out of 4 FAs)who smiled and kept people on the positive vibes. The other flight attendants and "customer service" agents were just grumpy AF and had perpetual frowns on their faces. JFK / JETBLUE = FAIL

Unknowing families (generally young) are then legally responsible for pre-embedded town-code violations. Every so often, the village sends the new owners letters: "It has come to our attention that. . ." A year or two passes. Then another threatening letter: "It has come to our attention that ..." Property tax is raised with each repair not to mention possible fines. That said, the police, and fire department, and sanitation workers are great. But I'm happier elsewhere.
