Doona is extremely knowledgable and she can guide you through various yoga poses and explain the benefit of each pose in detail and what are the benefit of each pose is and show you how the poses can be done correctly. It is really hard for any instructor to correct your mistakes in group classes and by doing one on one with Doona, the yoga practitioner can really understand the purpose of the yoga workout and to fine tune his/her practice. A big thank you to Doona and I just wanted to say that I am very impressed on what you thought me in mere one hour. I look forward to continue refining my yoga practice with your help. This first session with you took my fitness motivation to a different level and I just realized that I have a long way to go. Doona deserve a 10 star review for her detailed instructions.

I just finished Stephanie's hot sculpt class and couldn't leave the parking lot until I shouted this studio out! Energy, community, welcoming as can be. One thing I really appreciated was that the room stayed dark throughout class. A dim environment helps create a calm, inward-focused atmosphere, which is an important part of yoga for many practitioners. My biggest concern was the pace of the vinyasa classes. I don't mind a challenging or athletic flow, but the transitions were so fast that there was barely enough time to settle into a pose before moving to the next one. A good vinyasa class isn't about moving as quickly as possible--it's about connecting movement with breath. Students need a few breaths to establish alignment, engage the appropriate muscles, and experience the stretch before transitioning. When everything is rushed, it becomes difficult to focus on breathing or body awareness, and the practice starts to feel reactive instead of mindful. The room also became very stuffy because the doors were closed so quickly. I understand that heated yoga is intentional, but fresh air and ventilation are still important. Several people appeared to struggle to keep up, and it felt as though the lack of airflow--not just the heat--made the class unnecessarily uncomfortable. Another area for improvement is instruction. I often had difficulty hearing Kate because she spoke very quickly and without much emphasis, making it hard to follow the sequence. Clear, deliberate cueing helps students move safely and confidently. For me, the best vinyasa classes strike a balance between challenge and mindfulness. They allow enough time to breathe, establish each pose with proper alignment, maintain a comfortable environment, and leave students feeling energized, grounded, and mentally refreshed--not rushed or stressed. I hope this feedback is helpful because I truly believe these adjustments would make the experience significantly better for many students.
