They treated her like a bother because she was gifted her massage through Groupon, and they left partway through the massage without saying a word to go talk to the receptionist. She even texted me afterwards requesting I change my review, saying business is hard. I made sure to keep the screen shots. I wasn't going to make note of this until I saw that she responded to my original review - flat out calling me a liar when in fact her staff did demand a 25% tip on top of a $220 massage that was advertised as $200. Great business practice, Qing.

EDIT: THE ISSUE WAS QUICKLY RESOLVED…read more I just had an awkward and inappropriate experience with a masseuse at Vitality Massage. I always give tips before my massage here and I had the same masseuse once before but didn't have the issue I did today. So I tipped her $5 after I paid for my massage and she wasn't satisfied with that so I gave her another $5 and she still wasn't satisfied. I told her that I just want my massage that I just paid for and that I would give her another $5 after my massage. She agreed and I got my massage. After my massage she practically begged for me to give her the money I said I would give her. So I gave her a total of $15. It's absolutely fucking shitty and not ok to complain to a customer about how much tip they gave you. Be grateful I gave you a tip in the first place.

Oh my goodness... This place is super sketchy. Do not get the full body massage if you are a shy or…read morewholesome person. The rooms they have you in are separated by sheets, they demand you take off all your clothes, and they only give you small towels to cover up your bits which they end up taking away very quickly so you feel like you're the subject of an alien autopsy. I don't think of myself as a prude, but when the pressure/technique of the masseur is extremely novice (enough to the point where you wonder if they know what they are doing,) oil is used very liberally, their crotches are pressed up against your head, and 80% of the massage is focused on your exposed pelvis, you begin to wonder what the main motives of this place are...

I'm a student so I'm on a tight budget, so when I found this place I was excited! Not only do I feel very relaxed after getting the hour long foot massage, but my knee feels much better. I will definitely go back.

3 stars for the gentleman and 2 stars for the female employee…read more The male masseuse just goes through the motions but at least puts some effort into the massage. The female masseuse was putting pressure in my spine and areas that weren't comfortable, I was having some discomfort the day after. She would take long breaks to get lotion or towels. She probably spent 2 minutes trying to get knots out and the rest was just rubbing my back and shoulders. Would rather spend double to get a proper massage. Won't come back here again.

At $30 The Deluxe Foot is a bargain. I usually opt to have the $60 Regular Combo though. This way I have the best of both worlds - an excellent back/body massage as well as a good foot massage. One thing I must stress, though, is that you be sure your therapist is the gentleman who works there. My session with the lady masseuse wasn't as thorough as what I'd come to expect from them. It kinda felt like she wasn't as experienced. She wore latex gloves through the entire session (I'm a nurse and was taught never to wear gloves when giving a massage to a person with inact skin) and didn't massage both sides of my body equally. Thankfully, she only managed the "foot" portion of my visit while the main masseur finished up with his client and could take over the rest of my service. I'd have rates 5 stars had it not been for this single sub-par experience with her.
