Brenda, who is one of the owners and teaches as well is a gem!!! Brenda has taught me so much about my body and just breathing really. She constantly reminds me of my body mechanics, which is so important with Pilates. I have corrected so much of my posture thru out my daily living because of Brenda. Brenda pays attention to each individual in class and teaches the class with all of us in mind for that hour. Brenda has changed my life and I am in love with her and the studio. The studio is clean, very calming , and has a very happy vibe about it. There are five reformers , so it's an intimate class, which I like. They also have two Cadillac tables that are so amazing if you ever really want to see some unique stretching techniques. Brenda was a professional ballet dancer and has a degree in kinesiology. Many years ago, I took Pilates classes at a different location. I enjoyed them very much, but had to discontinue them. I was truly fortunate to find Christine's studio and reconnect with my favorite form of exercise. She is one very amazing person and instructor. After every class, I not only feel the changes in my body, but I see the transformation, as well. I am stronger, leaner, and flexible. My husband has also noted the improvements. She is a genuine teacher in all sense of the word. She sets high expectations for all of her students, leading them gradually to their fullest potential. It is truly is a special place! I hate going to gym's but I love going to Pilates class at Balance & Grace! Classes are small enough to get personal attention w/o having to get private sessions. I have never found another place that offers group reformer classes. Christine is a great instructor and no class has ever been the same. She has also been very responsive whenever I have texted her with a question or concern. I did a few private sessions before moving onto the group classes but if you have some Pilates knowledge you may be able to move straight into a class. If you have no experience I would suggest a few privates so you don't feel lost in class. read more

I was never one for working out and always very intimidated by the gym. I found out about Christine's Balance and Grace Pilates and wanted to give it a try. I've been attending now for a month and have to say it's my new addiction. Not only is Christine an amazing instructor but the overall vibe of the studio is great. The classes are small, about 4 people, so I get a lot of person attention. Christine is quick to correct your form and I know I'm getting the proper guidance in the class. Instructor guides you and makes sure u don't get hurt (important for this old gal ). You will do Sprints, Serious Hill Climbs, Various Sitting and Standing Positions to engage your CORE and strengthen your entire body...and get this..you do arm workouts while spinning, with hand weights...or just use ur own body weight. 3. Great energy, great music and lights, and different instructors with varied styles so u can find ur match. 4. There is also a gym with all the fancy workout machines and weights. If you decide to also sign up for personal training. 5. Genuine and caring crew who will notice and miss you when ur not there. 6. GET A GROUP ON to try it out...very reasonable... I still love my boot camp but spinning has giving me a great balance so now i alternate days and feel fabulous. Get a group on and check it out ....they are very reasonable .... but, pretty please..... get there 30 minutes before start of class...if its ur first few times. They take safety very seriously.
