I absolutely would recommend Balance and Grace Pilates in Glendora. I came here scared and unsure because I am not a fan of exercise whatsoever. I knew as a woman getting older I had to do something. I gave Pilates's a try and to my pleasant surprise it's quite addictive and what makes it this way is the small intimate classes and great instruction. I love the reformers. I am definitely a beginner so I have started at the beginning which feels so good its level 1 called (Grow). After that, the levels go up according to your needs. I have finally tried all the different instructors and I love them all. Each instructor has their own ways of teaching but you still feel really good every time you leave. So today I took my first class here. About a year ago i had my last baby and then I almost lost my life to an illness and now have mobility issues as well as being partially deaf and blind. I wanted to get back to working out but struggled with returning to high intensity.I decided to try reformer Pilates and I am so glad I did. I was struggling to feel any difference in my home light intensity work outs but here I sweated, I hurt, and I felt the burn. Christine was awesome in helping isolate the muscle groups and giving individualized attention in a group setting. I left inspired and really look forward to my next work out. I also must say the others in the class are great motivators so it was just a great session. I left feeling energized but also without the pain and inflammation that come from high intensity workouts. I don't think I'll ever go back to high intensity now. read more

I have been coming now for a little over one month and I am already seeing a difference. I feel like I have so much more energy to do other things in my day-to-day life. I have really enjoyed all my instructors especially the owner, Christine, who leaves me sore in every class which I do love as I am feeling muscles, I didn't even know I had. :) I also have a foot injury in which I can no longer do high impact classes but this studio with the reformers is amazing.
