I've been a  patient of Wes for 30 years. Yes, 30. But I've recently fired him because he lacks the…read morejudgement it requires to provide quality care in my opinion. Basically, he has referred me twice to substandard and expensive providers that reflect poorly on Wes. First, there was Susan Korch for my wife's braces. She's overpriced, runs a factory with FIVE chairs she literally runs in-between, and didn't even know my wife's name after one year as a patient. She sticks trays in, asks if they fit, and moves on to the next patient. When I TRIED to ask her a very quick treatment question, she said there was no time for that, and that I'd have to set up a separate consultation. She also refused to give us our treatment plan, claiming "it's proprietary". What the hell does that mean? It's my WIFE'S treatment plan. You also take a # like at the deli when you check in, and get called to the back by #, not name. Is she running a bakery or an orthodontic practice? Why Wes would send my wife to a person like this when Rick Cramer is less than one mile away baffles me. He's a great orthodontist who runs TWO chairs and handles all the care himself. Wes also sent me to the most expensive oral surgeon (Conestoga Oral Maxillary Surgeons, Hummelstown), not just here, but ANYWHERE. He's $1000 more for a dental implant than they charge in New York City. I called the capital city of every state on the east coast and NOBODY came within $700 of their pricing. I found this out AFTER Dr. Greg Bell at Conestoga did my extraction and bone graft, which was ALSO more expensive than any other oral surgeon on the east coast by at least $300. And when I fired him and went to a different oral surgeon for the implant, he took a look at my x-ray and said the bone graft that Greg did was "sloppy" and may not turn into bone that he can use for an implant. And for THAT I paid $760 when I could have had it done for $400? When I queried Wes why he did this to a valued patient, and did he know they were the worst providers I'd ever been to, he didn't even take the time to respond to my email. After 30 years, I think I'm owed an explanation. Apparently Wes doesn't think so. Further, the crown I'll need after the implant? $2300 at Wes's office, $1300-$1600 at three other dentists I called. Guess where I'm going? You have a lot of choices of dentists in this area. I suggest you price shop and go with somebody you trust. I no longer trust Wes Davis, and will be going elsewhere for my oral care needs.

I had the actual text message with the day and time I was supposed to be there and showed them that then they got me in. Today, almost 6 months later I get a letter from their office stating that I am no longer welcome there because of so-called inappropriate conduct with staff And I am no longer welcome in the building Well, now that I've got a full set of been planting you've got $40,000 of mine of course you don't need me back in the office. You're a thief and a con artist. I will make it my whole life's mission to always tell this story and post it wherever I please. Disrespectfully, David Barth

Hello! My name is William Maldonado. I'm an unsatisfied…read morecustomer. I had an appointment at 12:15 today. When I went to the front desk, I showed my insurance card to the girl working there. The card is a dental card that my employer provided me with two days ago. The girl took a look at the card and simply expressed that it was a medical insurance card rather than a dental card. I showed her that the card clearly says: dental card. When we proceeded with the dental cleaning the dental hygienist( Rany) just removed the tartar formation in my front teeth not the ones in the back, also polishing my teeth with a special paste or pumice to remove plaque and stains was a forgotten step which is needed to leave my teeth smooth and shiny, this step was forgotten or simply the hygienist was in a rush. Another step which I did not receive or was purposely forgotten due to poor professionalism or lack of knowledge was flossing between my teeth to remove remaining plaque or debris. 2 steps were forgotten and made me think about the professionalism of the staff working there and how they are going to manage to keep customers going to their practice. The poor procedure of removing tartar formation just from the front teeth and not from the rest, in addition to no flossing or polishing clients teeth, demonstrates a substandard kind of care that should not be given in the USA. Overall rating = substandard dental care, worst than mediocre.

She would let her doctor numb her without a problem and then she would seat for 2 hours with her mouth open, because our dentist in Europe is a perfectionist and I love the fact that he cares. Well this time we were in USA and we were not planning to go to Europe any time soon. My daughter's tooth started aching. We decided to see Dr. Barton at Lebanon Family Dentistry. After checking the tooth he suggested to extract it. (As I learned later it wasn't necessary, but he didn't say it was, he just didn't offer any other option). We agreed. He gave her a numbing shot and immediately pulled the tooth out. She was screaming as he was pulling and the assistant was reassuring me that it didn't hurt. (Well, I KNOW MY CHILD!!!!). She broke into fever a few minutes later. I felt so bad for her. 2 years later and she still remembers how painful that was and the worst part is she is so afraid of going to her old dentist in Europe who she used to like going to. Last time when he was working on her it took him over 1 hour to convince her to open her mouth. I hope she recovers from such an awful experience soon. Two things I noticed about American dentists: 1. They will find just enough issues in your mouth to drain your insurance; 2. It is not about quality, it is about quantity with them. They are always rushing to the next patient even if it takes to pull a tooth that didn't get numb yet...
