He had a 7.1 "Very Good" rating... which, for him, could only be raised closer to a 10 by peer recognition which isn't as important to me as his very high ratings in the other 2 categories - "Knowledge" and "Experience". I hired Mr. Heinrich to help lift a pending 3-month driving suspension. I had a stop sign violation as a third violation in a year and was denied supervision by mail which resulted in an automatic DL suspension. I am a professional and a mother of 3... suspension is not an option in this "vehicle reliant" world of mine. Mr. Heinrich spent ample time with me by phone before I decided to hire him. He advised me on several things that I needed to do (before I even decided to hire him.) He was also very clear on communicating fees. I decided to hire him and I paid up front. Mr. Heinrich's responsiveness to my questions, calls and texts EXCEEDED my expectations (and as my husband will attest... my expectations are quite difficult to exceed.) Today was our day of court. Mr. Heinrich called me this morning to confirm exactly when and where we were meeting. He looked very professional and put together, not like a "slick, silver-fox, used car salesman" (which was what most of the attorneys looked like this morning.) For the the second court date Mr. Heinrich was nowhere in court and did not pick up his phone ( i called multiple times as i was freaking out) and i got called within 10 mins of the time scheduled. I asked attorney about plea bargain Mr. Heinrich said he worked out and there was nothing on record so i had to plead my own case with judge and take higher penalty/fine. Mr Heinrich called me 30 mins later saying he does not see me in court.... 30 mins!!!! then had nerve to call back 2 hours later and say that he sees i took plea bargain he worked out for me... he was not even there and showed up way to late to work out any of the fees he took from me. Definitely would not trust his services again! At this point there is no proof he ever even tried to get plea bargain on my case as state attorney had absolutely nothing on his file. I really believe that if you charge $350 to show up for 15 mins of court then you have to make sure you are on time and at least have decency to apologize for being late and refund fee you took. I did like his attitude the first time i saw him but he proves once again the common opinion of lawyers being bastards, unfortunately. And he is not responding to any calls anymore or admitting being late or absent... My advise - talk to judge and ask for supervision if you don't have any previous offenses (yes, the scary Downers Grove judge he mentions in his letters is actually very pleasant and reasonable!), no need to hire anyone like Mr Heinrich and waste your money and trust.

I was not informed beforehand and while he was away , he ignored my messages, refused to release my file, and when I tried to retrieve it, he actually threatened to call security on me. Because of his negligence, I had to start over and spend more than $17,000 in total costs-including attorney fees, new filing fees, an new medical exam form, and other expenses- to repair the harm he caused. This experience caused enormous financial and emotional harm. Please be extremely careful before hiring this attorney.
