We stopped by as tourists and bought a small box filled with pistachio fingers, cashew fingers, baklava pistachio and baklava walnut. Everything was fresh, not too sweet and light! The woman behind the counter who advised us was friendly and nice as she helped us. Nice selections to choose from. One of these days I'll try the Ashta ice cream!

Baklava factory has a delicious variety of desserts! They have a variety of baklava that are great! My person's favorite is the pistachio, but the almond, and walnut are also great. They also had Dubai chocolate and it was delicious! The service was great as the sales associate was very helpful and her recommendations all tasted great. The store itself is clean and spacious. The parking isn't great as you have to find street parking on Ventura blvd but if you go at the right time, it won't be an issue.

Delicious and incredible. Knowledgeable staff made great recommendations! They do it by the pound, which I love because you can just load up a container and stop whenever. Every single one that we tried had a unique and fantastic flavor. You definitely need to eat before you go because if not you will just keep piling more into the container LOL. They have a cute sitting area and a couch we chilled on for a bit before walking down the street. Will definitely be back to try more flavors!

Walked past the Baklava Factory and saw the wide variety and I knew I had to go inside! Baklava Factory has 3 Los Angeles locations, all with traditional and contemporary takes on the baklava. It's $18/lb, so take your pick at basically everything! I got their traditional baklava pistachio and various walnut ones. The staff and service are top tier, they suggested some of their favorites (rolled baklava) and it's now my favorite too! These are excellent gifts and sweet treats for yourself, highly recommend checking them out. I can't wait to go back!

Stopped by Baklava Factory and had a really good experience. The person helping me was genuinely nice and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious -- exactly what you want when you're craving baklava or Middle Eastern sweets. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

While picking up lunch next door I noticed this place looking gorgeous from the sidewalk. I had a few minutes to spare so decided to walk in. Thankful I did because welcome to dessert paradise! I quickly gravitated towards the pastry desserts. An over abundance but necessary amount of options. To my pleasure, there was a plentiful selection of pistachio treats. As a future Pistachio farmer, I had to sample as much as I could. I ended up with half a dozen different pistachio versions. Every single one was delicious!!! Great buy and find. Eager to take my mom here to sample. Lesson of the day: Never leave a stone unturned! Never know what treasure may pop up!

The absolute worst baklava we've ever had! Have ordered from here a few times sometimes it's decent sometimes a little stale but this time it was absolutely horrible and rotten! Had 3 pieces with friends and we couldn't even finish those, threw them up and trashed the rest! Save your money!

Great place for some premium baklava. Got an assortment of baklava to go for dessert. We planned to have enough for the week but almost finished all of them. They were delicious, high quality and not too sweet. Good place to go for a sweet treat to serve for dessert or afternoon tea.

This is…read morecoming from someone who has an Israeli boyfriend, someone that keeps hummus as a staple in her home, and someone who could probably never get sick of Mediterranean food. My boyfriend introduced me to this place, he and his family love it, and now I do too. He and I used to be long distance for three years and every time he would visit in LA, we would go to Tel Aviv Grill. There are lots of things to get here... pita, laffa, baguette, but I've pretty much always ordered the plate. You choose a meat and you get a wholeeee bunch of sides. You order and pay, and take your receipt to the counter and they prepare the meat and your order for you. I usually order the chicken thigh plate and I split that with my boyfriend. The plate is honestly enough for two people but it's not quite enough protein. So we also order a side of rib eye or chicken shawarma. I get everything with the plate, so that looks like: purple cabbage, green cabbage, cucumber tomato salad, pickles, peppers, roasted eggplant, fries, and one pita. Hummus and tahini too. They have other sauces too but you have to specifically ask for those if you want them, like zchug and amba. Some workers are nicer than others and if you ask for a little extra, they give it to you. We always appreciate when that happens :) Everything here is good, you won't be disappointed and you definitely won't leave hungry!

Not only my wife's chicken kabob was not cooked well, it was cold too!! Her meal was not the only meal on the table that was cold. The next morning, we both had severe stomachaches which we could not possibly believe. Please do not be fooled by the portions that they give you, they fill up your plates with lots of salads, to cover up the stingy portion of one skewer chicken or beef kabob which they serve you on their plates!! They claim to be glatt kosher but their food, meat & chickens are not healthy at all. We will never step foot in there again. After a while, there was a response from the owner: " I am sorry to hear about your experience with us. This is not something that we take lightly. I would like to offer my apologies. Please give our main office a call and ask for my secretary. She will be happy to hear from you and will do her best to rectify the situation." I did call and talked to her. She said that she is going to talk to the owner and will get back to me. She texted me the following: I appreciate the time you spent talking to me regarding your experience at Tel Aviv Grill. I spoke to the owner and he agreed to send you a gift card in the amount of $150 which you can use at any of our locations including "Popular" our newest store and Tel Aviv Tapas. Although I understand that your review was based on a true experience, considering the fact we are rectifying the situation, will you please either remove the negative review or rewrite it with a better light? I called her & told her that if the owner wants me to rewrite my review with a better light, please ask him to make the gift card $200 since I have been to his Tel Aviv Tapas restaurant a few times & have spent a lot of money there, the main courses are over $90 a dish, salads are over $26 & alcoholic beverages are over $28 each. She said let me talk to him & I will let you know. She got back to me, saying that after speaking with the owner about our conversation, he is taking the deal off the table now. She added that, I am busy with other things & do not have time to negotiate endlessly about this. This is not the right way and the right attitude to rectify situations & make clients satisfied!!

The fries are completely different from the Westwood location, and this spot doesn't offer the bone in chicken that Westwood has. Even the taste of the ground beef and the chicken shish kebab is very different from what I've had at better locations. We also went to the location near The Grove in Los Angeles, and that was different too. Honestly, it feels like they don't care about this location because nothing matches. If this is supposed to be a franchise, everything on the menu should be consistent, but it's not. At this point, it feels like a completely different restaurant. The biggest issue, though, is the temperature. Every time I walk in, it feels like a freezer. It's extremely uncomfortable to sit and eat, especially when it's already cold outside. I keep hoping it'll be different, but it never is. this one really needs to fix the AC and be more consistent. Heads up if you're going to any location expecting the same exact taste or texture of the chicken kebab, ground beef, sandwich bread, fries, or sides, it's not going to be the same. Everything is noticeably different, both in taste and texture, and even the menu items themselves are not consistent across locations.

It is one place that always puts me in a conundrum, because there is so much here to order. Since about 6 months, they've been opening at 9 am, with an additional spread of breakfast selections. Yes, you can get the Israeli breakfast, as well a selection of numerous salads, if you are looking for something unique. Kind of a small tasting menu, if you will. I came here for lunch, to order my favorites. You have to start with small bites and I always gravitate towards the falafel. It comes with eight fresh and perfectly deep fried balls that are optimally crisped (and crunchy) on the outside, with a soft tasty green filling on the inside. That, with the accompanying tahini sauce, takes you to another place. Always consistent. Hard to come here without making a choice from the butchers section. I go for the middle eastern kabob (this time one skewer) that arrived just after it was grilled with good char, nice coloring, succulent and exploding with fragrance and taste. Each bite allowed you to taste the moist meat and its spices. For my sides, the mashed potatoes (with onions) had wonderful texture and mouthfeel. For the second side, my choice was the house hummus, good body, silky feel and a thick wholesome and smooth blend of its ingredients. It lubricates your tongue. That, when scooped up with pieces of fresh Laffa bread, really hits the spot. Service was attentive, thoughtful and informative. Need to come back often, to try more from the menu.
