Nothing fancy, just good food at reasonable prices. The employees were helpful in assisting us in picking from the many broodjes (sandwiches with meat/cheese, no or little veg) on offer. We ended up eating an omelet broodje just about every morning, along w/ a nice koffie verkeerd (latte). They have a machine that makes fresh-squeezed OJ, lots of lovely pastries (gebak), good koffie (euro-coffee, like espresso rather than a grande brewed coffee from Starbucks), and savory sandwiches as well. I tried the tuna salad one day, it was pretty yummy. Lots of locals are constantly streaming in and out of this place for bread.
Anyway, if you are staying in the Jordaan neighborhood and are looking for breakfast, lunch, bread, etc., try this spot.
