I placed an order a week in advance, during this time I was in communication with Morgan about cake details.Pricing, sizing and pick up times all went without a hitch so I thought the day of pick up. I get an email from Morgan five minutes before my pick up time saying that my cake is canceled...... Mind you I just got off the phone with a male saying that Morgan will be out with my cake shortly... I was very confused and felt very taken advantage of! Then came anger from what an inconvenience this has been because now I'm out money and a cake 30 minutes before my event! As you can see by the email, Morgan states she will give me a refund which she did not! So like I said, do not order from her she will scam you or like her previous orders give you something that you were not expecting! I will be reporting you to BBB and shame on you!

The quality is certainly being maintained at a high level. This is a traditional, German bakery with a huge variety of authentic European cakes, cupcakes, sweet and savory pastries, pies, cookies, coffee cakes, and the only reason I think a German bakery should exist--strudel! Strudels are available whole, half, or by the slice. The usual flavors are apple, cherry, blueberry cream cheese, cherry cream cheese, and Boston cream. We bought slices of the apple, cherry, and blueberry cream cheese. These were perfection and absolutely delightful. I was totally focused on the strudel case (yes, there's a lot of strudel on offer), but I believe there are eight huge cases of treats, each one looking more enticing than the next. Quite a few gluten-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free options are available, so if that's what you need, this is the place for you. The bakery was moderately busy during our visit. There was plenty of staff and they were all friendly, helpful, and very efficient, so purchases moved swiftly. Lots of coffee and drink options are available. There's nice outside seating if you can't wait to take your goodies home. It's a long drive for us, but we were really impressed and we'll find a reason to visit Arvada so we can stop back soon. We decided to go with a tart cake in the shape of a 30. I sent her some photos of the look we were going for and she nailed it. We did the 3 in vanilla and 0 in chocolate tart. It came out spectacular. I gotta be honest, I don't love cake and didn't expect it to taste that great but this cake blew my taste buds out of the water.
