The studio owner and recording engineer is highly knowledgable and friendly. The studio staff are all very helpful and organized. Everybody really cares about their craft. The space itself is beautifully built and invites creativity. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. There are several rooms for recording. As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

As an artist paying for studio time, that's incredibly distracting and disrespectful. I did not feel valued as a client. After leaving, I was repeatedly asked to rebook, instead of being asked how the session went. Bad vibes kill creativity. I would never go back. UPDATED Feb 1-11:24pm After leaving this review, the owner Elliot messaged me AGAIN on Instagram. Took zero accountability and only cares about his image. NOT the client. To address your comment, I asked for a discount, cuz your interns run the session. As Indie artists we have to fight to protect a space we paid for. Often times we don't have other options in the area so we suck it up, but no more! This is not a good studio. I would not go back. Look at how he responds to feedback...

My husband and I were surprised with how good the photos turned out. Owen guided us on poses, so do not worry if you don't have any experience in front of a camera like us. I appreciate his attention to detail (notifying us of stray hairs, etc.) and he was respectful for my family who wanted a group photo. Not to mention, he's really humorous with his pop culture references; that definitely broke the ice and allowed us to be more at ease. I also want to highlight that he works incredibly fast and presented the finished products just a few days after our shoot! Thank you, Owen, for capturing these special moments for me and my husband.

He knew what we were looking for and took pictures of everything, food, guests, the venue. He directed all of the family photos and wasn't afraid to tell people to fix things for the sake of the pictures. He had my kids taking their monstrous load of stuff out of their pockets and even had me "suck it in" to get the right shot. Quick delivery of the photos and was cool enough to just give us all of the picture for the event. Highly recommend....

Ron plays multiple instruments and also has access to talented instrumentalists who will help any singer or musician accomplish their goals. His hourly or packaged rates for sessions are reasonable and yet he won't waste your time during the session. I want to finish recording my album and audio book projects with Ron before he gets swept up by major labels around the world to leverage his great talent. He continues to work with major labels and yet is available locally. He is tech savvy and knows how to use tomorrow's technology to produce main stream sound that will blow your mind. My favorite thing about working with Ron is that if you give him the free hand to influence your work, you will be amazed with the outcome.

He recently provided video and audio recording for me, of a 3 hour set, in a noisy restaurant/music venue. The quality was outstanding. In providing this service, he was honest, reliable, conscientious, professional and did everything he said he would do--beautifully, on time, and with great care and attention. He is a rare find: honorable, professional and excellent at his craft.

Working with Rene at Future Sound Studios was the best decision I made in 2018…read more The worst decision I made was using my drummer's boyfriend's studio. I had three great songs that I had written over the summer that I decided needed recording for my debut album. My drummer offered her bf's studio to record the band, which was cool at first. It ended up being a HUGE mistake--the drums sounded AWFUL recorded in his place. Small, tinny, behind-a-padded-wall sound. Out of sync totally. Not to mention his overall attitude was weird--it ended up being his session, not mine. I thought there was no hope for saving these records. And I still had yet to record my vocals. Luckily, we found Rene on Yelp. With his help, I was able to record my vocals and get the drums fixed to a T. Rene made my songs go from B-side 1960's crap small-studio sounding to 2019 sparkling, widescreen Katy Perry perfection. We also go the songs done relatively quickly. I was obviously a bit trepidatious going back into a studio after that last experience, but I shouldn't have been. Rene is very nice and personable, the opposite of what I experience so often in Hollywood. I felt comfortable in his studio the second I stepped foot inside. Rene and I are also on the same wavelength creatively--we both feel when a take is right and when it's not, when a song is hot and when it's not. He is very honest and will tell you the truth, which I appreciate. My favorite part of working with him is his sense of humor. I also respect how I requested no autotune on my voice and he actually listened--most other engineer/producers I've worked with laugh right in my face at that and never do it, they're too egotistical to ever let the singer make mistakes on their record. But he let me try it. Remember, as a mixer, masterer and engineer, his success is your success. He is a hard worker-I must have asked him for 40 files for TV and film placement purposes and he sent me every single one immediately. He is a walking plethora of musical knowledge. The actual room is small where I recorded, but it worked fine for me and my backup singer. If you really wanted to, you could cram a small choir in there, maybe a horn. Rene's studio is for overdubs, not bands. So, keep that in mind. Although he does have other rooms. Great, high-quality gear, too. Fantastic mics. Rene is awesome! I can't imagine going to anyone else to finish this album. Excited to work with him again. Would recommend! 10/10 ***check out edithviolette.com to hear the final product, will be out soon***
