Ordering was quick and easy, I came in with photos and was able to text them to the baker which was convenient. The cake tasted just as great as it looked and at a great price, highly recommend them. 4/17/2020: I wanted a custom cake that I could drop off for a friend since we can't currently celebrate their birthday like "normal" due to social distancing rules. I messaged Doolee's via Facebook with the idea for a Tiger King themed cake and they sent an invoice I could pay online without ever going in, such a simple process! The cake was just what I asked for. They always do a phenomenal job!

DEFINITELY AVOID for custom orders. Haley was nice enough on the phone, and i was excited to find a…read moreplace that could do a gold cake without using fondant (especially since young kids don't really seem to like the taste). I had to make a couple of follow up calls for a sketch of the gold brick shaped cake my God daughter wanted for her golden birthday, and so they would take my credit card info to complete the order because communication was lacking. I paid ahead because I'd be out of town until Sunday and someone else would have to go to collect the $70 cake to feed 15-20 people on Saturday before they closed. Unfortunately when they collected, it looked more like a standard rectangle than the brick she sketched out, the words were poorly done - some illegible and they were inconsistent heights. It looked like an elementary aged kid had wrote the letters and we ended up buying sprinkles to try and disguise the poorly written, very amateur words. The person picking up the cake couldn't get ahold of me when they did because I was on a plane, and when I called back to express my disappointment I had to leave a message because they were closed. 1 week later and still no phone call back. The ONLY thing that makes this a LITTLE less annoying is that the cake at least tasted good - snickerdoodle and chocolate. I would avoid unless you're buying something they already made, because the skill and customer service level was lacking, and clearly they don't care to make things right when they underdeliver.

I tasted them at a friends party and I was obsessed i had to seek this place out. I contacted Mary the next day to put in an order. We had the strawberry and snickerdoodle the first time, which were both delicious. However, the strawberry stole our heart, and apparently everyone else that was with us. They kept asking us for the name of the bakery again and again. We drove almost 40 minutes one way for them, a friend had recommended a vegan cupcake place that was much closer to us, but after they tasted this cupcake they knew that nobody stood a chance. There is no other vegan cupcake in Dallas that tastes likes this, trust me I've tried many. That friend, is a believer, he too has vowed to make the trek through Dallas to get to these. I look forward to finding a reason to order again, and Im not waiting for another birthday either. As soon as my toddler hits another milestone, we're celebrating with cupcakes. I don't care if my child learns how to wink or skip backwards I'm going to tell my husband we need a cupcake reward for him and may as well grab 1 or 3 for me as well...just make it a dozen. I also look forward to trying the vegan vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. Mary is awesome, I felt her good vibes through our previous email correspondence I was happy to see that she was just as delightful in person. The name of her company surely suits her brand. Kudos to making delicious munchies for us non dairy and egg eating folk over here.

We took a trip to try out Tiverton Bakeshop & it was exactly the kind of experience you hope for…read morewhen you walk into a small neighborhood bakery. It was calm and quiet--such a change from the usual "large" coffee shop. The moment we stepped inside, the smell of fresh pastries was incredible. Then the fresh ground coffee hits you! Everything looked like it was made with LOVE. The pastries were flaky, rich, and full of real flavors, We tried a little sweet & savory! You can tell they focus on quality over quantity 100%. We got a little bit of everything. We tried the cinnamon roll, almond croissant, jalapeño, and cheese, sausage croissant, everything but the bagel croissant, pesto and goat cheese croissant, when they ask if you would like it warmed up... say yes! For beverages we tried raspberry Matcha latte, hot chocolate & other signature hot lattes. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy a really well-made pastry this place absolutely delivers. I'll definitely be back.
