Our "Outfitter" was Abby, an experienced runner, who made us feel comfortable through the entire process. She communicated through her words and manner that she wanted the best shoe for my wife. In addition to the 3D scanner, the pressure mapping mat was a low pressure way to direct the shoe selection process. We left with shoes that my wife felt comfortable wearing and pleased with the fit. Fleet Feet is a chain and offers a rewards program. Given the price of new shoes, it's easy to reach the first reward tier. The store itself is clean, small, organized, and an efficient use of the space. The selection is limited, but of good quality. In addition to running shoes, the store offers Garmin watches, insoles, running hats, shoe laces, energy gels, running shorts and tops, and the like. We parked on Independence Lane, just a few steps from the entrance. I have no hesitation returning to go through the Fit ID process and receive good service.

We let her know our budget before hand and she was very good at sticking to the price range we had. My friend walked out with a really cool pair and was incredibly happy.

I love to shop here for shoes and clothing brands that I love at more affordable prices. Most recently I was looking for leather loafers for work and shorts for summer. I was able to find both! I got some very comfortable Cole Haan loafers and a couple pairs of athletic shorts/skorts, plus a pair of jean shorts. They had some really cute pajamas as well, but I used self control and did not purchase them. I also love to shop here for toddler shoes for my son. They have discounted Adidas, Converse, New Balance, etc. in his tiny size and they are just adorable.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Nordstrom Rack location today. While I was using the…read morerestroom, there was only one available stall because the other was out of service. Several customers became impatient, knocking loudly on my stall door, rattling the other stall door, stomping outside the stall, and creating an uncomfortable environment. I understand that the behavior of other customers is outside the store's control. However, what was disappointing was how the situation was handled by an employee. Instead of checking on me with professionalism or helping de-escalate the situation, the employee came into the restroom to tell me there was a line waiting, rolled her eyes, and made facial expressions that felt dismissive and inappropriate. Rather than making me feel safe or respected, I felt embarrassed and pressured while simply using the restroom. I later contacted customer service and spoke with an assistant manager because I felt the employee's behavior was unprofessional. I hope this feedback reaches corporate so employees are reminded to treat customers with respect and sensitivity, especially in situations involving privacy.

That means if you DO find a pair of shoes you like, you have to try and find a second pair at the same price to maximize savings. They had benches to sit on and try shoes on (unlike some places who took them away). It wasn't too crowded, everything seemed clean, and apparently if you don't find a second pair of shoes, you can bring your receipt back and buy one later (I don't know any other details, but that's what they said). I was able to find 2 pairs just $5 apart in price, so it was a win for me.

I found this 'Groove Belt,' which is pretty much a game changer for me. It has a magnetic buckle that has two heavy duty hooks built in to keep it from coming undone unless you intend to unbuckle it, the belt is also 'one size fits most' so you can adjust it to almost any size waist. You can choose to leave the slack intact so that it infinitely adjustable for as long as you own the belt or you can cut some of the slack if its bothersome. The belt even stretches with you when you bend over to work so it never feels uncomfortable when keeping it somewhat taunt when my shirt is tucked in for the workplace; like I said, a complete game changer for me. We stopped in the Saturday after Thanksgiving and they still had a great deal on the belt. It normally costs $60 but was marked down to $39, I probably should have bought two of these things but I wanted to see how long it lasts in my work environment, only time will tell. Since we were there shopping, we noticed they had great deals going on for BCG training attire and all Magellan clothing. I purchased several pairs of BCG shorts and workout pants and one Magellan top at 50% off which was a great deal. Staff here have always been super friendly and helpful and the store is kept immaculate. I highly recommend stopping in to check them out if you're in the area.
