Olender's is on the USAA insurance short list of accepted specialists and, since they are only 3 miles from my house, I figured it was as good a place as any. USAA may be onto something. I was lucky enough that I could still drive the car, so my down town was minimal. Once the parts were in, I dropped off the car and, after an estimated 11 business days of work, I got the call 8 business days in that it was ready. Like a new car. I'll post a follow up on his company once the car arrives. For now, Derek was top notch, very very accommodating to all of my questions as well as sending pictures. He's very knowledgeable but what struck me the most - he went OUT of his way numerous times to help me out. I'm in NC and he's in MA. Rather nerve racking buying a car I've never seen but he had exactly what I wanted in this car. All boxes were checked. What did he do that was extraordinary? First off, the car was running a little sluggish and he chg'd the coil and injector and sent videos along the process. Then before sending it to a shop for a pre-purchase inspection he not only filled the AC unit but he chg'd the system from R-12 to R-134. This was all on his own initiative. Now you tell me, how many people would ever do that? I know of just one (so far), Derek! More information to come once my 300ZX arrives next week. Wish I could meet him (someday) bc Derek is what make's America great. We need more guys like this! UPDATE (11/16/19): Finally got around to completing this review. The 300ZX arrived about 3 days after it left Derek's lot. The car arrived on a 7-car truck and he placed it in the MIDDLE of the truck (best spot to shield against road damage). The driver of the truck (an affiliate of Nala Equipment) and he could not have been nicer. The car was just what i expected and MORE. It was a HUGE leap of faith to buy a car sight-unseen but not with Derek and his company Nala Equipment. Would i recommend him to others - HECK YEAH! Would i buy another car from Derek - HELL YEAH!. Dererk and his company are top-notch and he comes with my highest recommendation. He is the kind of person that makes America great. Keep it up Derek!

I asked him about the check, he said not going to happen because of the review what were you thinking lol, he didn't get a chance to send it because he was busy and now after the review it will not happen. He stated he is not contracted to give any money and he was just doing it to be nice and doesn't owe us a dollar, but if I take down the review he will write the check and send it out today. He also let me know that if I were to put the review back up after receiving the check "you will not like the rebuttal " "I will blast you with all of the stuff signed and it will be a lot worse". He proceeded to let me know that I lied about the hydraulics and tires we do not have the experience, a tow truck without weight doesn't drive good it needs to have weight on it for it to ride rite. I proceeded to let him know we had the same truck few years older with Jerr-Dann body before this one, he had nothing more to say about that. He proceeded to say "take it to court, I know my rites, I have been down this road before" your review is not hurting my business I have sold 10 trucks since yours and I have all the good reviews, every restaurant has at least one bad review!" I went to go add on to my Facebook review and noticed he took it down/blocked it and I proceeded to look at how many reviews he had I believe 43 or so then I counted and there are only 30ish that are showing.... I guess I found all the bad reviews....hidden not to reveal this company's true colors. So I will again say BUYERS BEWARE! I stand behind my first review that cost me $800 .... And now my second that cost me the same $800 for not taking down my first! This just goes to show I was rite he pays for his reviews. Happy shopping y'all! One who genuinely thanked me for calling and didn't rush me off the phone. He said to call back 45 mins before I was ready to come in and he would make sure my car would get worked on right away. I called back this afternoon and they took me right away. Rob at the front desk was very friendly and the waiting room was very comfortable. As a younger female, autoshops aren't usually the most welcoming places, but this was the best auto-realted shop I have ever been to. They even fixed my tire free of charge and encouraged me to come back if I needed any other work done. Excellent experience. I didn't realize there were still businesses in the world today that ran with genuine hospitality! I highly recommend.

Bob is a stand out guy who has nothing but passion for the service he provides for his customers…read more My car is old with high miles and typically when something goes wrong with it I bring it to Harvey Auto which is walking distance from me. The car got to the point from rust where Jim didn't feel comfortable putting it on a lift. Long story short my car came here because the gas tank needed to be replaced before other services could be done by Jake Luzi (like I said, car is old with many problems). It took Bob little to no time to provide his service and get the car to Jake and back on the road to me. There was a hiccup though. When the gas tank was replaced the float that reads how much gas is in the tank was not set correctly and yes you guessed it I ran out of gas. Only problem was I did not know that was the problem seeing how my gauge read that I had 3/4 full. Car was towed to Harvey Auto and took Jim pulling out the pump to tell me that the tank was not set correctly and I had no gas. After finding this out and my car was put back together I came and talked to Bob about what happened and he was very apologetic about what happened, which you could clearly see in his facial expressions he was disappointed. During our conversation he mentioned that I should have brought it to him first and would have honored his services, certainly had I known that the gas tank was the issue I would have had it towed here. But, we made up and went on with our day. Overall despite what had happened I am still pleased with his quick service and his gratitude for the work he had provided on short notice.
