When I met Joe, I took an instant liking to him. He was knowledgeable and passionate. The bid went smoothly and I was looking forward to working with him. After a delay of about a month getting my neighbors in line and dealing with the logistics of all of our family pets not having access to their yards, I decided to proceed. He came out to re-familiarize himself with the project and sign paperwork. He was set to start work two days later on what he claimed to be a "no more than 2 1/2 day" job. The fun stopped basically after I wrote the first check. On Thursday: No Joe. I had taken time off from work and he was a no-show. I called him that afternoon and got some lame excuse as to why he wasn't there and wasn't coming. STRIKE ONE. On Friday he arrived on time. He was apologetic, but the damage was done. In what I can only suppose to be eagerness to make up time, he started demolition of the almost new section of fence I'd done with above mentioned 4th neighbor. He put nearly half of the relatively new fence on the ground before I could stop him. WTF? The demolition took longer than he expected for various reasons, so they didn't pour concrete on the new posts until late in the day. Because of that, Joe said, he couldn't do any work on Saturday. But what he COULD have done is repair the damage to the section of fence he had destroyed that wasn't part of the job. STRIKE TWO. They got about half of the job up on Sunday without incident, but it took all of Monday to finish the project. Actual time was twice that of his estimate. STRIKE THREE. Oh, and I shouldn't neglect to mention that their company truck left massive oil stains on the street in front of my house and a neighbor too. We'll try to forget all the irritated phone calls I had to field from disgruntled neighbors as well. On the plus side, the fence itself looks to be a good job and they cleaned up the site extremely well. Not nearly enough to counter all the negatives.

What can I say. We have used Adaptech on multiple occasions and surpassed all expectations…read more Need your 70" TV mounted and wire your room for 7.1 surround sound? That was our first job for Charles and Adaptech. All wires for speakers and TV were routed in walls and ceiling. The effect of hidden wires allowed for a super clean look. Need new electrical run or relocated? No problem. Over the course of all our jobs many new outlets, new electrical, new switches, ceiling fans, were all completed with ease. I even requested use of wifi enabled switches for the beginnings of a smart home, it works perfectly. When the time came to wire a second room with TV mounted over fireplace, in ceiling speakers for 5.1 surround sound, and new LED can lighting we knew right away we would call Adaptech. Again all the wires were routed seamlessly within the walls and ceiling to give a seamless look. Charles even devised a way to circulate and vent the hot air from my audio/video equipment with a fan and thermostat. Need wires run for your network (CAT5), they were able to route a wire from our upstairs office where the modem lives down from the second floor through the wall below the house and up at the site of my 70" TV and peripherals so they could be hardwired. Now streaming video or audio works without a need for relying on a possible low wifi signal. Needless to say my wife and I have continually been impressed by Charles and Adaptech's work and we will continue to use them as new house projects come up. If you want the job done right with high quality contact them.

He was super responsive and replied the same day--probably within a few hours, even though I made the request for an estimate rather late in the evening. His price was the most competitive I received--and I am quite thorough with my pricing research. Pepe was able to come out the next day to give a more accurate estimate, and while he was out here, we asked him to price out three sections of fencing that we needed rebuilt from scratch. He gave a quick estimate and we agreed to hire him, and our neighbor offered to provide all the fencing materials, while we agreed to pay for the labor. Pepe arrived the next day and got right to work putting in the posts and was able to finish off most of the fence (3 large sections!) by the following day. I was amazed because he did all of the work by himself and was quick and extremely attentive to the details AND the overall quality. Pepe then flipped our swinging gate and installed brand new hardware and springs, and it swings out and shuts on its own with ease. It's really like a brand new gate! The only part of the fence left unfinished was a top 1x6 "trim", but that was because our neighbor was not able to procure the lumber. Pepe called us the day after (after we already payed for his labor!) to offer to come back out to finish off the fence when he is in the area. I will definitely update when it's all done! While he was out here, he fixed my other swinging gate to make it operate more smoothly. He did this out of the goodness of his heart and did not charge us anything. I look forward to having Pepe out here again for my other (small and large) projects both inside and outside the house. Thank you, Herreras Remodel. Until next time!
