Sorry guys it's a 3/5 and I reaaaaally wanted it to be good. The service was great it was ready extremely quickly! But it just wasn't great. The veggie pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza were better than the margarita but they were nothing special. The pictures looked better so maybe they're better by the slice in person. We picked it up and we were on time but it was cold and not crispy at all, maybe should've baked it again. The people were super sweet and I wanted the food to taste better, I'll try it again soon

We discovered this place during the OC block party. Saw some people out on the sidewalk eating these incredible looking pizza slices. Went inside to find a small and narrow bakery with some tables and a single restroom. There were different flavors of pizza and donuts and bread for sale. The people were super nice and we really enjoyed the food. I would certainly go back. The pizza is a cross between Detroit style and focaccia bread. It has a crispy crust with caramelized cheese, tucked down the sides. Incredible!

90% dough and the margaritas had barely any sauce under the basil and grated cheese. The chicken teriyaki has no flavor either.

How can you mess up pizza? Just ask this place. I walked by, looked awesome as I LOVE thick pizza usually - but this is where style is above substance in all means. It looks great and I realize it's sourdough - but it's 90% dough and barely any toppings and hardly any sauce. Their ratios are wayyyyy off and I asked for the slices to be heated up and they tossed them in for a minute and they were cold in the middle and it wasn't even busy. The Korean chicken pizza had 0 flavor and barely any chicken and a splash of sauce which tasted like nothing. If the flavor and toppings were on point, I wouldn't mind the prices ($44 for a pizza?!?) but we wound up throwing away 50% of the slices away as we couldnt stand how bland they were. And it pained me as I never and I mean NEVER threw away pizza in my life. Ugh this pizza made me sad...

All bread. $44 for eight slices of this junk.

A relative picked up two pizzas (8 square slices each) $88 total! It's ALL BREAD. I called and politely asked to speak to a manager. The girl who answered mocked the request. The guy who came on said "Well, what would you like me to do?" I replied "I'll let you make the suggestion." He replied (verbatim) "I'm not gonna do nothing dude. If you can't afford it don't buy it." What a disgrace this place is!

Not your run of the mill boardwalk slices! Carefully developed dough with toppings that leave you satisfied and very full!

everything was absolutely delicious! 8.6 one bite for the round and 9.2 for the focaccia Sicilian!!!!

Absolutely the best in south Jersey happens to be in Ocean City! Round pie is an 8.6/9.2 for the Sicilian/one bite scale

Don't sleep on the chicken fingers. Korean bbq sauce excellent.

My husband and I frequently visit the shore from Brooklyn and we've been meaning to try Bakeria forever. Finally made it today and wow! We are two very different pizza people -- he's a classicist who loves a simple Margherita slice (and he's an overall Ny pizza obsessive); I'm a non-crust-eater who loves toppings -- and we were both totally impressed by the Sicilian-style slices here. Above all, the dough, OMG -- it's like the fluffiest focaccia ever, pillowy, not at all as dense and heavy as Sicilian crust often is, and the crispy cheesy edges are heavenly. Perfect amount of cheese and toppings -- he had the margherita of course, me the pepperoni, and I took a mushroom slice to bring back to Brooklyn. Yes, that's how good it is. And don't sleep on the chicken fingers either! Also loved the mini food hall setup where the shop is located -- you'd never know from the street but it's in a cute open layout space w a bubble tea place among other food options. Lots of seating, with some tables outdoors in front.

I live for Tomatoe Pies. Give me all of this Sicilian goodness. Once upon a time, I lived within walking distant to the Italian market in south Philly There is this one place every weekend that I would stop at before I did my produce and fresh pasta shopping. And there are plenty plenty of pizza and Italianish places on the island and mainland - I mean this is New Jersey?!! But to the get the right texture in crust and the right sweet/savory goodness in the tomatoes is amazing. This place is located inside the Exchange which is a food hall with 6 other vendors, totally also worth just checking out.

Me and my boyfriend went to the Ocean City nj boardwalk yesterday…read more And I was feeling a little hungry. But also a bit dehydrated. One of the employees there. Ordered me water with ice. And told me that I should stay hydrated. Especially in the heat . Which I agreed with 100 percent. Because it was so hot and very humid yesterday. Her name was Cadence. She was very nice and kind. She provided excellent customer service. And she made my day better. I just wanted to recognize her . Because I have worked as a cashier and in food service in the past. And she deserves to be recognized. Because she was patient kind. So thank you cadence. I will definitely be back again.

Hello dear Ocnj visitors and locals. I write to you under poor circumstances this morning. I do not…read morerecommend Dead End Bakehouse. Not only are there an absurd number of flies here, there are legitimately multiple species of flies in the restaurant. They failed to toast my friend's bagel. On my other friend's bagel they cut the top half but did not cut the bottom half. There were no napkins in the napkin holder- any of them. I once again cannot stress how many flies there were. Also, the bagels taste like bread. Took an absurd amount of time for my bagel to be made so I was forced to sit in the fly cesspool for much longer than I wanted.
