First, he said he needed to make sure we didn't have a leak. Well...we had a slab leak. He referred us to a fantastic plumber (Eddy Ks Plumbing and Heating) that fixes leaks under slabs and he did a phenomenal job. We still wanted to replace the water heater so Joe was patient while all the excavation, repair, and restoration work was done. Joe did a great job replacing our water heater and even built a new stand/table for it. We were billed what we were quoted and he showed up on time and was very professional. We will definitely call him for any future heating, cooling or plumbing needs.

And the power of yelp is that we speak the truth about the places we go, taking away the power from the businesses that choose to mistreat customers or rob them under the reasoning of it's the only choice of businesss in that industry in that area so they take advantage and hike prices as some of the larger companies have down in the last year and a half here. I also hate to hear when people are stuck, hiring, uninsured, untrained people or for lack of their being other safe, trained, and available technicians that are not charging too much for the average retiree)., I can tell you that Austin, (the Technician and possible owner of this company?)is polite, friendly, funny, fast, it his whole back into the work , you could hear, and comes off non- threatening and knew exactly what he needed to do, went straight to it after talking to me about itand didn't ask or bother for a thing. I feel good about telling you quality experience I got from this company MGP Mechanical because I believe if there is no room for growth in this town, economy enough for a compliment or two to be circulating for even your competition,, we have real problems . Also, I believe it helps our economy when we support up-and-coming businesses of hard-working people such as Austin's business, ours business, and all other hard-working people putting the effort in to do the jobs that a large percentage of this town can't do any more for themselves due to physical restraints. Austin is obviously very nice looking young man, with actual manners, sweet to animals , kind hearted ( somehow I can tell you that due to our conversation on doggy's, reveals a lot about someone, efficient and polite. And I'm pretty sure if you are one of those elderly that have a low amount you're able to budget every month to for fixes in your house, it's gonna be a company like MGP Mechanical or ours that's gonna be the one to help you because we will help you in spite of your financial issues and work out contracted payment plans to make sure our neighbors basic needs are met. It's not always easy to see when someone has moral integrity worth getting to know them , and Austin was one of those gentleman making the service call workers around here look good. I believe with this gentlemen, you'll only see him continue to succeed and grow with this new company of his. As long as the community is connected enough to all have a little bit of Internet access and can continue to spread good news about the good workers, people like Austin will benefit this town, just as Austin will benefit from it. Work that was done: We received what they referred to as a "changeover "from him as he was who my rental property owner hired. Although he is our competition, I would recommend him in a heartbeat as he did the service as well and my husband used to do the exact process for work and got to witness. He said he did it well too. I hope to see his business grow along with ours and others like it. Good people are out there, and MGP mechanical with Austin at the helm is one of them as far as I have seen today. Thank you for your service today, Austin I hope you have a wonderful night and I hope your business continues to grow and people continue to support you and your business and business skills continue to grow as much as you have a goal for it! Thanks again!

The pads they offered cost $80 in addition to the $140, whereas we purchased all pads for less than $30. The tech stated the hose connecting the water source to the unit was "good", only to find out there was a hole in it when we fixed the hose bib and connected it less than 2 weeks later. There was no excuse for that, as we had extra hosing and advised them we had it. When I had originally called, I specifically asked if they would be able to replace the pipe that connects to the hose and based on that conversation, it was my understanding that they could, only for the tech come out and refer me to a plumber. My original post mentioned that I felt scammed. I still feel that the company needs to communicate better as I was left misunderstanding what they're capabilities were. Additionally, they took photos of work that was done, but never sent them until I requested then after posting my original review. Proactively sending these would have been a great way to support their work and make the customer feel confident in the work. Through the photos, it was revealed that they cleaned out my unit, but it had gotten filthy between the date of service and when I completed the set up. The owner has been very responsive to my complaints, courteous, and his drive to succeed is a credit to the company. I do recommend to make sure they do check every component and that you ask for a very clear estimate before they begin any work. $140 flet like a steep price for the work that was ultimately done. TLDR: Make sure you clearly understand what their charges will be and what it entails. Also, try to connect with the owner for any questions or concerns, he is very responsive and will try to make it right.

I recently had the central heat and air unit replaced by Anderson Air. I got 5 bids, and they were…read morenot only the lowest, but the most professional, giving me three choices, listing four rebates that I could get, and spelling out everything else in detail. By contrast, one of the city's major plumbing companies spent five minutes looking at the unit and the estimator said "It'll be about $8,500" - nothing written, no mention of available rebates... I was impressed by the installation, which only took a morning, even though the unit is on the roof at the back of the house, and it took a long-arm crane to remove the old unit and lower the next in place. The next week, when they came for final check, their person changed the way the thermostat was mounted to make it more attractive - no charge. Today I was to have my first scheduled maintenance. It had been scheduled for more than two months. Since I'd received no reminder from Anderson, I called the main office when it was about 8;45 (maintenance was scheduled for 8:30 - 10:30) and was assured the man was on his way. I put my phone on the charger and went outside to work in the yard while I waited. 45 minutes later, the man still had not arrived. I went in and found a message on my phone from the maintenance guy asking me to call him to verify that I was home. I called, and he said since I didn't call right back, he'd gone on to his next job and I'd have to call the main office and reschedule. My only negative comment on Anderson is that they should have better communication between the office and the worker - the main office knew I was home, but I had to reschedule because the worker was trying to check on his own.

This is a pretty successful business right they should have all their own tools and equipment to complete a job, you'd think. They don't, they relied on our equipment and when we had to get rid of it for safety reasons walked around the store saying we're gonna have to buy a new $20k unit for them to use twice a year. Likely story. It was some cranky old white guy what do you expect? These guys in sales and service are straight misogynistic. Thought they could talk to the GM like that because she's a woman. And continued to tell every employee that he could find that "we're gonna be buying a $20k unit". Deplorable. We'll see how things shake down from corporate in the coming weeks. But personally and professionally I would not recommend Anderson Air Corps.

Everything from not having my call returned to not showing up when promised. I was talking about it at work, and this company was recommended to me by a coworker. I called, and got a response and an appointment almost right away. The repairman who came to originally diagnose the issue was very quick to diagnose the blower motor as the issue. My furnace is 40 years old, and, despite a large amount of effort on the part of the company, a replacement part couldn't be found. Instead of just telling me "can't find it", I got an explanation as to why. Mark got all the information about my house and existing set-up, and gave me options on a replacement unit. I went with his recommendation, and it was installed four days later. Everyone in this company was fabulous, from start to finish. The person answering the phone, Mark (obsensibly the owner), the installers and the original technician were all present, attentive, and listened to my needs. His installers were super friendly, quick, and made sure the job was done absolutely right. They exuded confidence and competency. So far my new furnace is quiet and strong, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will definitely use this company every time going forward for all my HVAC needs, and would recommend them to absolutely anybody. If anything changes, I'll update this review.
