And he recommended Nana to do the payroll service. I called her 3 times already, she keeps saying that she will email me the required documents. However, she did not. She's supposed to email it to me today - Monday. And I was waiting all day to receive the requirements, so that I could prepare the necessary paperwork and do everything as quickly as possible. I'm working and also busy with my clients. And I totally understand that she's busy and probably have no time for another potential client. She could just say that "politely", instead, on the phone she was blaming for calling her many time(which I didn't), I just called 1 time a day, just to know when I will receive. She was talking to me like I'm someone she knows, and yelling at me saying that I'm not the only one. But I'm too, working and doing my job. She said that she works until 6 or 7, I can't wait the end of the day, because I have a family, and 6-7 is usually a dinner time. I prefer to do the business in the morning while everything is open. I do not recommend Nana for payroll services!!! She is very rude and unprofessional!!!

I had a terrible experience with Byran Blatt Who is a CPA at SCHALLER & BLATT, INC in Sherman Oaks California and would not recommend his services to anyone. Despite paying him over $1100.00, he failed to deliver on his promises and refused to respond to my messages. For four long months, he kept telling me he would contact the IRS to get an update on my documents, but he never followed through. He never bothered to return my calls, emails and he rarely responded to my text messages. Whenever I tried to reach him, he always had some excuse or the other, claiming he was ill or attending a party to name a few. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for someone who claims to be a professional. If he had been upfront with me and said he was too busy to take on my case, I could have found someone else who would have been able to help me. Instead, he wasted my time and money, leaving me in a bind. I would advise anyone looking for an accountant to steer clear of SCHALLER & BLATT, INC in Sherman Oaks California. Save yourself the headache and look for another firm that is reliable and professional.

Unprofessional treatment and horrible services which includes refusing to answer my phone calls, emails, and in-person contact. Background: I paid for my 2023 Tax Return and Jack electronically filed my 2023 Tax Return on March 15, 2024. As of October 4, 2024, I have not received my refund. Eventually after many failed attempts to reach Jack, including visiting his office, and calling his office multiple times, when he answered the phone he did not tell me the reason as to what the issue is. Only that since this electronic file "failed", Jack would "mail" the tax return. On July 8, 2024, Jack told me he "mailed it" but refused to provide any tracking number. However, as of October 4, 2024, the IRS has no record of any sort of "mailed tax return". As of today, any attempt to contact Jack or his office fails. I have filed my taxes for years and have never had any issues before. This is a horrible experience and I urge you to reconsider Jack and H & A Tax Services for your tax filing purposes. I now have to pay out of pocket a second time for a more competent tax specialist to re-file my 2023 taxes and deal with penalties for the failed filing by Jack. Jack has refused to refund me for this inconvenience.
