He even went so far as to give me his wife's and his granddaughter's personal cell phone numbers since his was broken at the time. I will most definitely shop from Natura Farms again because they truly care about their product, their customers and they have such an amazing selection of fruit. We will definitely be making the trek to their farm to see their fields in person. Again, I cannot recommend them more, I've never had a company go to such pains to rectify a situation and to keep a customer happy - 10 gold stars!

It's located in the scenic Scandia/Marine on St. Croix area on Manning Ave (15) just north of 4 almost 2 miles. This family owned roadside stand usually has signs to let you know what is available in season. There is enough parking for 10 or so cars just off the street. Whether it's fresh picked sweet corn, pumpkins, squash or other items the produce is either in wagons or set out on the ground for you to choose what you need. The prices are clearly listed and a lockbox allows you to pay for the items. Great idea, great produce and great prices! Love this place! Note for October 2017: We stopped by Saturday 10/13 the sweet corn is long gone for the season and and they were running out of pumpkins for the year. Squash and decorative gourds were still available. This area was hit with a Spring hail that damaged a lot of crops in the area including the nearby Berry Patch. This limited some availability this year.

The lady at the counter was so friendly and sweet. She offered samples of the milk. I would never think about getting strawberry milk, but I had to as it was so good. The chocolate is fantastic too! The quality is like no other! I know this milk is sold in some of the stores around the cities, but it was fun to visit the farm. I'd like to come back for some of the icecream.

My sister and I went to the Scandia Farmers Market on its opening day and had a great time! In the…read morepast, the Farmers Market was held at Gammelgarden Museum (across the street from the Scandia Community Center). However, due to COVID-19, it is now at the Community Center to ensure that there's enough physical distance between vendors and customers. We were welcomed by Gammelgarden Museum's intern who showed us where to wash our hands before entering the market. There were clear in and out directions to ensure an easy flow of customers. Customers and vendors all are required to wear masks, making this a safe and healthy place for people (especially those who have underlying health conditions and/or are seniors) to shop for produce, baked goods, meat, wild rice, plants, and crafts. There were a variety of vendors on Opening Day, and it was so much fun to visit each one and see what was being offered. Despite not having music or entertainment, or food to eat on site (because of the CDC guidelines), it was still a festive and welcoming place to be, and a fun way to see neighbors and friends. We are looking forward to going back to the Farmers Market again next week!

This was not in my plans to visit but entering Osceola I remembered a segment on Twin Cities Live of this unique business. The farm is large however the store is smaller than I thought. Since I had more driving to do it would be a long while before I could get to a refrigerator so dairy products were out of choice, and those cheese curds looked great. I found some Cherry Turnovers on a table with some other similar baked goods and discovered a very homemade country style taste, as though baked with real ingredients instead of cheap short cuts. The farm is south of the town on Hwy 35. I went past twice cursing at my GPS for saying I'm right on top of it and I couldn't see the place. The sign is pushed back and faces the road not the front wise to the drivers and the building is unassuming or touristy looking.

All of the regular meats, such as back straps, are phenomenal as well, but I'm just so impressed with the processed meat. I typically take my deer to Von Hanson's. They're outstanding, but almost double the price of this place and with fewer varieties to choose from. The turnaround time for my dear for the 25/26 season was longer than anticipated, but when calling they were so nice and explained the reason for the delay. I'm hoping for a good season next year to try everything Deer's Food Locker has to offer.

I recently made my first visit to pick-up 2 lambs that they processed for me. This is a great place with wonderful people. The processing was simple, inexpensive, and hassle free. I also ended up walking out the door with a chicken, many pounds of beef, over 20 pounds of beef tallow, and several pounds of wildlife sausages, "bacon", and jerky (venison, bison, elk). Be forewarned that these folks hardly ever answer the telephone, they're always busy working in back. But if you leave a message, they'll call you back. Deer's does about 75% of their business with the fall wildlife harvest. But they'll also process livestock. In addition, they have their own cattle so you can also buy whatever they have in stock...which is a LOT of stuff! This company is friendly and very community oriented. They have an event every year where they give away 2000 or 3000 pounds of processed wildlife protein from the fall harvest. It's very popular. Watch their Facebook page and arrive early to get a spot in line. I make ricotta and cheese, and we also make what we call "goat ice cream" for our dogs (frozen goat milk in ice cube trays!). We have Siberian Huskies who don't tolerate dairy well at all, and raw goat milk has been absolutely perfect for them. The farm itself is such a joy to visit. The drive there is beautiful, the land is peaceful, and the moment you turn down the driveway you can feel yourself exhale. The goats are a delight to spend time with, and the babies are beyond sweet. They offer tours and family-friendly events, and it's clear how much love and care goes into everything they do. The family who runs the farm is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Ordering milk is as easy as texting Sarah--she always responds right away with a friendly "sure, pick it up anytime today." You leave your cash in a little basket by the fridge in the milking house--an old-fashioned honor system that feels so refreshing. As a dog lover, I also enjoy meeting the farm dogs who casually wander over for a pet or bring you a toy to throw. I'm truly happy to have discovered this place. It's a sweet, charming, old-style family farm, and every visit feels like a small reset from life. Beautiful land, wonderful people, and a place I look forward to returning to again and again. Exploring the world of cheese while in WI led us here. Although this location is in MN, it is right…read morenear the boarder. I saw the goats on line and talked hubby into exploring. We knew we didn't have the time to call ahead for a paid tour. Online you can get pricing which will get you to see more goats. We just wanted some cheese. Pulling onto the long driveway it looked beautiful. The land well kept. We drove toward a house and then parked by what looked like an office. A big refrigerator truck sat outside. You could see goats in barns all around. There was even a kid in a pin by himself in the shade to the side. Without any signs we weren't sure where to go. Another vehicle soon came down the drive. He parked and questioned us. We told him we were interested in goat cheese and didn't know where to go. He looked puzzled but then showed us the"office ". There was large vats of goat milk and a couple large refrigerators that had a couple options of cheese. Also some goat soap was available for purchase. He told us his parents started the farm, and they don't normally let people just wander around but we could pet the kid in the pin. They sell on an honor system, you just leave the money behind. If you want goats milk you have to order ahead to make sure there is enough left after the trucks come. We paid cash for the couple cheeses were wanted and then played with the kid for a bit before taking off. Cool set up, didn't mean to seem that we were intruding, just wanted to check them out and their cheese
