We spent most of our time browsing the gift shop and bakery. From the "Happy Camper" coffee trailer out front, we grabbed hot beverages along with a couple of delicious bakery items -- a pumpkin cream muffin and a pumpkin scone. We took these to the enclosed patio out front and enjoyed them while listening to a musician playing guitar and singing. It made for a lovely afternoon. After that was sorted, they switched the orders up. My latte was a vanilla coffee with cream and sugar, and my husband's coffee had no cream and sugar at all. I let them know they were wrong, and I didn't get a "sorry about that" or anything, just weird looks from everyone. My face was surely irritated. The only positive was that my husband's sandwich was not burnt, which usually happens to him. They were really nice and let us come in and didn't rush us at all. Our server Javier was nice, as was Joni's daughter. I had the patty melt which was excellent and she had the chicken BLT. We both had the fries for our side and those were good too. I met Joni this time also. The only downside of our trip was the elderly man who was wearing a Trump hat. With all the blatant racism surrounding him and his administration and being an immigrant, we were very uncomfortable. Wishing people would leave politics out of public places.
