I had disconnected the batter to try to stop the continuous beeping but it did not work. Toby from Expert Electric Tech arrived and immediately said I needed a new smoke/CO detector because the unit was beeping with the disconnected battery. He didn't even try to simply replace the battery. I was forced to do something to stop the beeping. Paid $549 for a new "lifetime" detector, mainly to make sure the beeping would stop. Put a new battery in the removed detector and it seemed to work fine. Called Kidde and confirmed I did not need a new detector since the model I had beeps until a fully charged battery is installed. I won't ever use this service again.

I finally had enough money saved up to upgrade my wiring for the house. Oi! That's a lot of money!…read more The house had the original wiring from the 40's. Now it has top-of-the-line easy to upgrade wiring with room for exapnsion. This is good because I will need to call them back a couple of times. They came in, upgraded the breaker box, grounded the wiring, made space for future additions which we discussed. Sadly, I couldn't afford to get everything done all at once - nor could I get everything done all at once because I needed to have a carpenter in for part of it and the plumber, and then the electrician back again, so even if I had the money to get all the wiring work done at one time, it wasn't possible. But - they did a great job of installing the upgrade. They were fast, prompt, friendly, professional, hardworking, and now I have to scrimp and save for more work. I need some switches and outlets that don't work fixed, I need a number of new outlets installed (remember, original wiring from the 40's - a maximum of 2 outlets per room and I think 4 should be the minimum, so I need to double the outlets), install electric wall heaters, and an overhead heater in the bathroom, plus bathroom outlets for grooming items that are electrified, and ceiling fans. The business then will reply with an estimate. Mark (the owner) responded within the hour. I then called him and we got an appointment scheduled. Him and his son, Connor showed up and they were both super friendly and went straight to work! They were able to address the issue and fix it within 30 mins or so. He explained to me what had happened and how he corrected it. His service call fee is $110. These guys are very kind and professional. I would recommened them to anyone who needs an electrician. They texted me when they're on their way also which I like. I'm a stay at home mom with a toddler so anytime the phone rings I never answer because I can't hold a conversation with all the noise.
