I brought in a few summer white pants, and capris and a very lovely Chinese embroidered with frog closures jacket. She pointed out to a very tiny stain on the back of the jacket, which if I looked really closely, maybe would see it. Said the other pants had marks/stains, which I would have gladly taken home and laundered. They were not interested in selling them. I donated them to Sally Ann. Now I have several pairs of too small summer jeans, pants and two pair of dress pants to take in. I will see what they say this time. I wasn't impressed with my last visit. read more

Very rude staff. They seemed to have forgotten that all the clothes come from customers. The intake woman should not be working with the public or in retail. Knows nothing about clothing. There is some game playing with some of these transactions that leave you with a feeling that you may have been taken. Just don't go here ! Many other better consignment shops around. read more

We have always been more then satisfied with our service. When my mom was looking for something special the owner went above what was needed. Even giving a discount on an item. I've only been in the store once and once was enough. Very rude staff. They totally ignored me! I walked out!

Whenever I go in, the staff are fine and usually friendly. I was greeted with a cheery "Hi!" by both women working in there today. They usually don't go in the "back" room, so yes, if I needed help, I'd have to go into the "main area" to ask. Some women don't like salespeople coming over and asking, "Do you need help?" I find that makes me uncomfortable. I'd like to think that most women are strong enough, so that if they need help, they'll ask. Otherwise, just let me browse. Can I give less than 1 star? I wish!!! I went to drop off some clothes (nice clothes) and was treated like I was a pest. They made me put the clothes on hangars in the parking lot... Because they didn't want me taking up space in their store... Then as they went through them, they mocked the items they didn't want (saying they were "mall quality" and that they wanted premium brands) I was warned that they were Horrible people here... but I thought... it's a consignment store, I drop off some clothes, how bad can it be? Yikes this place is awful! I had a horrible experience even going into the store and politely asking about consigning. She talked to me like I was a total idiot. I brought in some great (clean, ironed) clothes, the lady made me hang everything up on a rack, she flipped through like she had a million other things she should be doing (it was COMPLETELY dead in the store, and there was another employee there) and was told she would only take a few items if I went home, steamed them and brought them back. I said no thanks, ended up taking it all to My Sister's Closet and Leche's and sold everything, with great customer service too! . I can't believe this place is still open. read more

I completely agree with other negative reviews for Baha Rosies. I specifically went into the store a week prior to find out what sort of items they're looking for, went in with my clothes all washed and nicely on hangers and the blonde lady had absolutely no respect. She keot saying things like 'I can't have items that will make me look like crap or ruin my reputation' ..... are you kidding me?? You sell used clothing, get over yourself!! I will never shop there again, her items tend to be overpriced for used clothing so I'm not too crushed ....... and I'm happy to give my clothes to charity, she just could have handled things much more tactfully. I know alot of people in the area, so I guess she doesn't really care if she has business or not. There are many other 2nd hand stores in the Victoria area, Baha Rosies is not worth it! read more

So disappointing. About a week ago I purchased an Adidas hoodie for $26 (plus tax). It seemed in decent shape, and I liked the colour and fit. After washing in one time in gentle detergent, in cool water, and hanging it to dry, it was covered in those little pilly things. It looked like an old, worn out thing (my guess is that perhaps the seller had used one of those little gizmos to remove pills from it before selling it). I took it back to the store today to see if they might refund me for it, or even give me a partial refund or store credit. The staff were dismissive and uncaring. They repeated more than once that their return policy is within 24 hours. I explained that I didn't wash it within the first 24 hours after purchase. I asked if they would accept something in that shape for consignment and they said absolutely not. So...it was okay with them to take my $26, agree that it was in bad shape after just one gentle wash, but basically - too bad for me. I was told that if I purchase something in the future they could give me 10% off of that. No thank you. Given the very poor level of customer service, I don't want to shop there again. read more
