I had a neighborhood party and catered from here. Carmello, the manager took great care in helping me to order the proper amount of food. All of my guests loved everything and it was the perfect amount!

This is my go to restaurant. I seriously go once a week. The service here is amazing, everyone is so sweet! The food is always amazing. My go to meal is the Americano taco combo and it's the best! Definitely recommend!

Clean and fully stocked. Thses two are working non stop. Cheers

But this location does NOT have this on their menu which actually stunned all four of us sitting at the table. This is one of the main reasons we frequent the Avila's chain and needless to say, this was very disappointing. Because they did not have the table side guac, we had to settle for the premade stuff which was bland and tasted nowhere near as flavorful as the Table Side Guacamole we have had at every other Avila's El Ranchito we have frequented throughout Orange County. This location did have a low carb fajitas option which was interesting. It did NOT come on a sizzling skillet like the regular dish, and the beans were whole (not refried). Instead of rice, they give you salad. I did not love the dressing for the salad btw. I am glad they have this low carb option, but it is significantly different from the normal Sizzling Fajitas version which they do offer here. Service was decent. And we loved their large outdoor seating area covered by shade trees.

The La Tablita and shrimp taquitos are standouts, and the chips with their trio of salsas are divine. My horchata was sweet and I kinda wish they added a little bit of cinnamon. I had a bite of my boyfriend's carne asada burrito and it was delicious. There was a ton of carne asada in it as well as guacamole. My taco was really good. It was super crispy, although the beef in the middle was a little dry. The red and green salsa we asked for at the drive thru helped with that. My enchilada was drenched in red sauce and had a good amount of cheese filling and topping. There was way too much lettuce though, I feel like they didn't have to add so much. I ended up just moving it to the side. It also came with rice and beans which were both cooked perfectly. The beans were smooth and the rice had some veggies in it which was nice. My boyfriend's burrito also came with rice and beans which was a surprise. That usually doesn't happen at Mexican restaurants. I would definitely come here again and try something new.

My Ensalada Cobb was just what the doctor ordered: I subbed Salmon, and am bewildered that the skin was like crispy bacon and the salmon itself so tender and perfect. Sorry dude I have to live too. Also parking is very difficult to find, but there's valet off PCH behind the art museum for $15. Okay now the good stuff.. my steak & lobster enchiladas were awesome! The green chili one was spicy and filled with lobster. The red one was a nice marinara sauce topped with Parmesan crumbles and had steak in it. The black beans and red rice actually didn't have much flavor though, probably should've put that on top. My wife's butterfly shrimp and garlic sauce with corn rice was really good too.
