Over the years I have passed this little road stand countless times and they were never opened. Welp... holy cow was I lucky to pass by and I saw they were opened. I steamed them simply with Old Bay seasonings in the Steam water. Look, I have probably 100 experiences buying crabs from a roadside stand, so I think I know what is good and what is just so-so. These crabs were so succulent that I was giddy. The crabs were easy to get out of their shells, and the meat was super sweet. The Jimmies were accurately sized. Wow. Delicious. Well, well worth the price.

I…read morehad a whiting fish sandwich with substitute hush puppies instead of fries because, right, we can get fries anywhere. Don't worry I'll get them next time. My sandwich was good. Fried nicely with no sogginess. The crust was firm but not too thick and went well with the bun. I opted against having lettuce and tomato but those came with it and you had your choice of tarter sauce or cocktail sauce. I didn't realize the brands until I was back at the car to which I could not see, but the cocktail sauce and the hot sauce both tasted good. The service was supreme. I grabbed a menu to go. Their freezer or refrigerator carried their portions as they sell it raw or cooked. The crabs legs looked "healthy" and I certainly wish I wasn't just coming back to my office so I could enjoy them. Another day and time I guess. Oh well I've been eyeing Marty's Crabs for some time now and was not disappointed. There appears to plenty of outdoor table seating and my food was made to order.

Our waitress Charlie was pleasant and wonderful! She granted my every wish and even got me red wine vinegar (it's a must with crabs)! You can tell that it's definitely a local place but they're so welcoming to everyone! Charlie, we will be back!

Service was overwhelmed and had a negative attitude. We felt like we were bothering our waitress each time she asked to take our order. We tried to be as quick and helpful as possible! The crabs rocked, as usual. The snow crab legs are heaven on earth. However, the fries were soggy, and the crab dip had NO crab AND a hair. Yuck! The pop machine was also broken because my root beer was watered down so much. Will we be back here? Obviously. I hope it's a better experience next time!

It's really cute and you just want to love it. We ordered the fish and chips. Really nice presentation with fries and coleslaw. Unfortunately, that's where it went downhill. The fish was overcooked, server didn't check back as we wanted malt vinegar. By the time she came we were finished. The coleslaw was flavorless. The fries looked like they were going to have a nice aioli garlic and sea salt flavor to them. Nope! Just normal old fries. Very disappointing. Maybe an off day but we were not impressed.

It is BYOB so don't forget your wine.. or even margaritas (that's what we brought this time lol) The place can get crowded so expect to wait a bit during peak season. They don't take reservations but you can put your name in and wait outside their shop or even hang by the dock to the left of their place. The dock is not huge but a nice size and can sit up to groups of 8 easily at some of their tables. They do a full service dinner and includes their Caesar salad and bread with a delicious olive oil sundried tomato dip. The dinners come with 2 sides or 1 side of pasta. My favorite is their crab cakes or any crab stuffed dish. My other favorite if you are feeling hungry is the crab Marie. It's a fettuccine pesto light cream sauce with an abundance of lump crab meat. The seasoning is delicious on all their dishes is amazing. Full of flavor and butter. If you aren't into dining in or waiting get their takeout. It's just as good! And don't forget to grab a loaf of their Italian bread and sharp provolone in there.
