It is unfortunate that a man such as Hugh Shine who has been held with such high esteem in our…read morecommunity is unwilling to admit and own this simple but costly mistake. His mistake cost me thousands of dollars in lost income. He simply forgot about a six-figure amount in a checking account he was supposed to investing in. Instead of accepting and paying for his mistake, he provided me with a lame excuse as to why he left this large amount of money in a checking account that Wells Fargo was paying me .25% interest while Wells Fargo was charging me .75% fee to manage my monies. When I complained to Hugh, he said he could no longer talk with me and the complaint would have to be handled with the complaint resolution department. Pass the buck, feed them lies and outcomes produce bull****! Regardless, the amount of money I lost and I asked Hugh to reimburse me for is very small considering our financial statements. Hugh has lost my confidence when it comes to investing and accepting responsibility. I am asking the public to reconsider the trust you have placed with Hugh Shine either in a vote or in investment. A man's true character shows when he is asked about his mistake, how he responds and how he intends to pay for it. All men make mistakes, honorable men admit to them. Good men do not try to cover up their mistakes or place blame on others. A man's true character starts to shine when you ask them to pay for their mistakes. I have voted for Hugh Shine in the past, but will not vote for him in the future. I ask that you do the same.

I have waited a few days before commenting, as I wanted to truly allow myself to cool down before…read morespewing off many remarks in an inappropriate way. As a new customer from another institution; i was hoping to have the same if not better customer service. After banking with them for about three weeks I had made a mistake when calculating how much I was spending and I had overdrawn around $15 which they in turn charged $260 for. Since this was my fault I only wanted to see if there options about a possible one time forgiveness. After sitting it only took around 2 minutes for someone to come over and ask to speak with me. When she greeted me, she seemed very annoyed to the fact that I was even in the building. When we sat at her desk and I began to explain the situation, she merely stared at me with a smirk on her face. She quickly pulled up my account activity on her screen and abruptly turned her screen to show me what it said. She then pulled it towards her again and said it was my fault and they weren't interested in helping. After I calmly asked her if there was any chance I could have the charges removed since it was my first and only offense, she seemed quite annoyed and yanked a paper from her desk and stormed off to her supervisors office. After sitting for about 5 minutes, she returned and slammed a paper in front of me and her exact words were in a very condescending tone, "Here, this is all we're going to do, and you need to let this be a lesson on how responsible you need to be with yourself". I was very grateful to have anything done to the charges at all, especially since it was my fault. My biggest issue was the way this person handled the whole ordeal. I just wasn't expecting to feel so stupid and unwelcome in a place of business. Other than that, the tellers are alright, they aren't the nicest but they certainly aren't rude by any means. Also, the woman who opened my account was quite pleasant, though it did seem as if she was in a bit of a hurry to open the account and to get me out the door. So I guess they could work on customer service.
