They took thousands of my money and applied it to someone else's tax bill. Eight months later I still do not have the money back or the tax bill paid. Interest and penalties are adding up. Do not use this tax service. They admitted fault and I have proof it is their responsibility. read more

I have never in my life experienced such poor service from a professional company. After my husband met the owner with all my paperwork, I heard nothing back. After eight phone calls (none returned) I demanded an answer for status. Finally a contract tax preparer called, sent the taxes, which were incorrect. She corrected the numbers and emailed them to me. We did not receive confirmation of an extension filed for our other business and I left a message and got no response. Pathetic. I have been going to Conlon Tax for over 5 years now. Even though I am located in Grand Prairie, Texas, I still trust this place. Mary has always made me feel completely comfortable that my taxes are being handled correctly and I am not in fear of the IRS coming down on me. She used to work for the IRS so I completely trust her. We tried a local company that my sister recommended in between our time with her and unfortunately my sister was flagged for audit and had to pay back almost every penny she got extra.. Almost $10,000. It was a very painful learning lesson. Where was the local company that did our taxes? Closed and no where to be found... so I decided Fed Ex'ing my taxes to Mary in their Waco or Temple office was worth the extra expense to know it is being done right. We were told that if we were ever audited they would help us and I trust that Conlon would be. They have been open for a long time and hopefully stay that way. One day we will travel down there to actually meet her and say thank you for the peace of mind she has given me and my family. But until then, she will continue to receive my taxes via Fed Ex. I asked Richard for an extension on my 2018 taxes on or bout April 10th. I asked Adrian if one had been filed, Adrian's reply was( I'm sure it has) I get a bill for $300.00 for total failure to file. No extension. I went in and asked about it. I was told it was my fault because Richard should have charged me a $100.00 at that time and didn't even tell me it cost $ 100.00 . He just said okay he would do it. I called for two months to check on my taxes , no reply finally walk in and the young pulls my taxes it takes him 10 minutes to finish what Adrian left undone for months. Bill Willess read more
