Garbage always broke!!
Jon G.

This place is not even worth 1 star. Look at the photos! Gated community? No it has a gate at the entrance that's broke half the time. Cars broken into 2-3 times while here. This place is not worth $1,500 a month. Maybe $1,000 at the most. Everything is in need of updating or repair. They bend you over backward when you go month to month. Almost everyone you talk too has problems or has had problems. All but one girl in the office is helpful. Rest are rude and get snippy. Move elsewhere. For either the same or a little bit more you can get a way better place than

Every time it rains my apartment floods. It starts in the second bathroom against the wall that I share with a neighbor. It starts there and goes to the master bathroom, from there it goes to the master bedroom closet and finally the bedroom. I moved into this place on October 2021. I have been informed that this was a recurring problem. Every time it rains I have to move everything from the bedroom and closet to the living room and the dining room and other bedroom so they can place a wet vac. It has been 6 times as of February 28, 2022. I can't take it anymore. I may have to lose my deposit ($1450) but cannot tolerate this. I am lucky that I have a sleeper sofa or I would have to sleep on the floor Today is March 22, 2022 and my apartment has flooded for the 7th time even though did the front of my apartment as well as the back. I have got to get out of the lease. She agreed to the reply at the bottom of this comment but she won't put it in writing. No one should have to put up with this. I told the management that I was going to move to another complex. I wanted her to put it in writing what she agreed to give me back all my deposit ($1450). She refused and said I would have to her a move-out date. I am on a waiting list so I can't give her a time. I don't trust her. They knew about the water damage before I signed the lease. Today is May 22. I had rain damage again. It's the 11 time. I got approved at another Apartment Complex. I move in on July 15th. Shelly, the manager, still will not put it writing. I don't trust Shelly. She said that once I had another place to live she would completely refund all the deposits. Bailey Creek Apartments sent me a letter I would have to clean my apartment or they would make deductions. I can't wait till July 15th.

The Signature at Schilling Farms

(6 reviews)

After paying top dollar, my family member has endured two years of constant frustration at The…read moreSignature at Schilling Farms--under the notoriously ineffective management of Makowsky Ringel Greenberg (MRG Apartments). Broken promises, zero follow-through: Maintenance requests vanish into thin air. Emergencies? "We'll get back to you,"-then silence. * No noise enforcement: Complaints about barking dogs and blaring radios go ignored. Common courtesy doesn't exist here. * Lights that torture: A flickering pole light has been flashing into windows nightly for two years--and MRG does nothing. * Uncontrolled parking chaos: Out-of-state cars, cars with garages parked in common lots--no enforcement or accountability. * Half-maintained units: Leaks, malfunctioning refrigerators, and other issues get bandaged, not fixed--or simply ignored. * Gaslighting galore: They downplay every complaint, then act surprised when residents push back. The bottom line? MRG runs a fancy façade--but residents live in neglect. You will regret signing a lease here. Spend your money somewhere that respects tenants--because Signature at Schilling Farms doesn't.

I have lived in these apartments for 2 years and they were brand-new when I moved in. I was the…read morefirst tenant in my two beddie flat located on the 3rd floor, and so list of pros and cons below: Pros - main living/ dining/ kitchen floor space has wooden flooring, making cleanup a breeze while bedrooms have carpet - Nice kitchen cabinets and lots of them, so great storage space - Staff are very nice and friendly - Great gym and children's playroom facilities - these also never get super busy, so dont have to fight for space (much) - each bedroom has an en-suite, which is great in case you are in a share situation - great natural light and plenty of windows - just located a mile from FedEx WTC location, which is awesome commute to work, if you are an employee - the walkway around the lake is great for strolling, dog walking, etc - has nice benches as well - they fix some issues very quickly, e.g. - when I first moved in, parking was a massive issue as there simply were not enough spaces. They reconfigured some parallel parking slots into regular lateral spaces and this reconstruction was done fairly quickly, so within 4 weeks, there were more parking slots available. Cons - buildings construction is very porous and if you are a light sleeper like me, be prepared to be woken up by 1) the noise from the train and 2) the garage door rolling up from the ground floor - my downstairs neighbor would come and complain that he could hear my every move, so that was a bit hard, as I don't feel I was exactly stomping around - No recycling available - Rent went up three times while I was there and that last increase was just the straw that broke the camels back for me and was an incentive (among other things) to move out - mold appeared in my closet - when the main gates broke down, took them over a month to fix - the main gate to exit open inwards.. so weird and they are too lazy to fix 'em - no water fountain near the gym So that's my take on it. I'm grateful that they provided me with a roof and a place to live while I was in Memphis, but if I was to ever return, I would not return back to this appartment complex. Yelp Review 201/ 2017
