1 star only because my salesperson was kind and price seemed fair. The rest of my experience was poor after leaving the dealership. I come to find out weeks after my purchase they under paid by about $500 the contract agreed payoff of my trade in as a payment had cleared the day after my trade/purchase that I could not cancel due to autopay. Instead of the dealership paying off the contact signed amount and me getting a refund from Ford credit, they under paid. The dealership should have sent me a check for the difference. I sent multiple emails to multiple individuals including my salesperson and finance manager questioning this, demanding they refund me the difference and no one responded. Also, the extended warranty process was very deceptive i am now realizing. I asked directly to the finance manager more than once since I was purchasing a jeep, was the extended warranty a jeep manufacturer warranty and he answered yes each time. I trusted he was being honest, and not really reading the fine print and not being 100% knowledge about the extended warranty business, purchased it. After reviewing the paperwork recently, i noted it was a toyota finance extended warranty. I was upfront in the office signing papers if it wasn't a jeep manufacturer warranty i was purchasing it directly from jeep and not from their dealership. I feel he purposely deceived me to sell a warranty that day. I plan to cancel this warranty as he was deceptive in what he verbally told me I was purchasing. I would not recommend this dealership as their tactics are deceptive. Purchase price was fair, but the made extra money from me using these deceptive tactics. read more

Bought a car from here and would NOT recommend doing so, for the most part the staff was friendly but the sales manager Jeff was not pleasant to deal with. Very rude and not appreciate of our business. On top of that, they forgot to sign the seller line of the title and are trying to get us to pay more that it costs to get a new one. We drove an half hour to arrive at our appointment with Mr. Yassine at 11:00 am. Moody, as he asked to be called, was with someone. Not only did he not acknowledge us, we had to ask someone else for help. When this person checked the inventory for the car we expected to test drive, the car wasn't even on the lot. To add insult to injury, Moody came out of the dealership with a client and shamelessly looked away without an apology or explanation to us. Your dealership lost a guaranteed sell. I dealt with a Sally Heinz and a Rep Kyle Bonham on a Car we said we would like to see. I was told by Kyle that it was out for recall issues at their Chevy store, I can post all the emails if needed, and he would call me the day it got back. I told him my wife would buy or myself when got back. I got an email from Sally, I explained above that was told will let me know when back. Again waiting, then got notification sold. I emailed back asking what happened to owners, Lithia Motors, General Manager, Brad Pavlik, Kyle and Sally and never got a reply. Look at Kyle's bio on meet the staff, Honesty? Poor service. They artificially keep the number of cars low and have poor in person service to make it seem like the cars are more rare or exclusive. I attempted to purchase a new Toyota here and had an extremely negative experience. The dealership refused to provide corrected purchase paperwork despite multiple requests, falsely claimed they "couldn't accept an out-of-state loan" from my credit union, and tried to push me into their financing at over 9% interest. They also offered me only $1,680 for my trade-in, thousands below market value (Carvana quoted ~$6,000). Because of these dishonest tactics, I walked away from the deal. Needed keyless code for a used Ford Ranger.Was told by the salesman Dave that this wasn't necessarily a thing that comes with the vehicle.Went to their Ford dealership was told they couldn't retrieve it and would have to replace the keypad. I love Toyota. But this may be the worst possible place to buy one. Their customer service is terrible. When taking my car for inspection, I'm told they need my insurance and owner's card, before they'd even touch the car to inspect it or do any necessary repairs. I pleaded with the "service advivisor" to do the inspection WHILE THEY HAD my car and put the sticker on after returning with the proper documents. Somehow, NO OTHER garage in 30 years of car ownership has ever had a problem accommodating such a request, but these guys simply refused and wouldn't even give me a reason as to why not. Buyer beware. These jokers do not tell you everything. Sure, they act friendly at first. I bought a used car they told me worked great because their awesome mechanics went over everything. Fifteen minutes after leaving the lot the engine failed. They sent a tow truck and told me I needed to give them $4500 more to replace the engine, but if I act fast they will cover $2000 of it. Turns out the model car I bought was part of a lawsuit against Hyundai over engine failure and that Hyundai is paying $2000 towards engine replacement. I am sure the dealer knew about the problem and about the lawsuit, and just wanted to steal more money from me and collect from Hyundai. I hauled my new purchase to my own trustworthy mechanic Homer. When my son mentioned the word "Lawyer," the manager forbade us from ever returning to their business, which is fine with me, as they are a dishonest bunch of thieves. read more

Short answer: BUY A TOYOTA! A person only buys so many cars in their life, and probably doesn't have extensive experience with lots of dealerships. I just bought a new Corolla in August 2020, after buying my first car, a used Yaris there back in 2009. My mom has purchased a 2006 Sienna and 2016 RAV4, and my uncle recently bought a 2019 4Runner and Tundra. So we have some longer term experience with this dealership and I can't ever remember any big mishaps. My Yaris lasted me 11 years, only needing new brakes, tires, and battery over its lifetime, so it's actually a good thing I don't have much experience with this dealership in that respect since the cars are so good. As far as my most recent interaction buying my new car, I arrived already knowing roughly what I wanted. After extensive research I narrowed it down to a small vehicle with a lift gate for added utility. I also want something inexpensive and reliable so I don't waste money and live through the horror stories I've heard from others, and all research data pointed to Toyota, Honda, Mazda, etc. All Japanese, what a surprise! Baierl Toyota was our first, and thankfully only stop that day. After initially inquiring about a used RAV4 hybrid, I spotted an all-new beautiful metallic black Corolla Hatchback SE and instantly fell in love! We were offered a test drive and it was so smooth and quiet, with more power and space than my Yaris, and 40+ mpg. Plus the sticker in the door read 'Made In Japan', the most reliable you can get due to their high standards and national pride associated with auto manufacturing. Just stay away from any Fiat/Chrysler or GM garbage unless you like playing Russian roulette with your bank account and sanity. They always rank dead last in quality, awful transmissions, electronics, rust problems. Now the painful part, after the accounting department included a weekend sale price with recent graduate discount, the monthly payment was a laughable $4-500/month, no way in hell for a Toyota, especially an economy car! Thankfully the accountant we worked with took his time to do some wizardry and we scored a reasonable $350. The only issue I had was some marks on the hood, which I scheduled a return appointment to have fixed and they were still there afterwards! Annoying for a new car but I didn't feel like dealing with an endless back and forth so I'll live with it. They also recently built a bigger used car lot and always have full inventory whenever I pass by, can't say the same for North Hills Toyota, that place is always half empty so try Cranberry or even Lexus, I've heard good things about them if you want something more premium. read more

I would highly recommend staying away. I went with a friend to test drive a car and after working the finance numbers they lied about giving the interest rate. They showed 2.49 as the promotion showed but worked from 3.97 and told us that our math was wrong. They also price gouge adding 2k due to inflation, but they wouldn't admit to that. Prior to writing this review, I reached out to Daniel via the Baierl contact page. I saw his responses to a number of poor reviews on Google and wanted to give him the opportunity to address my concerns. After two weeks of not receiving a response, it became clear that there is no value in the platitudes he leaves online. A couple of months ago I purchased a Prius for my daughter. It was a good experience. Now, we were in the market for an electric vehicle for ourselves and again considered Baierl Toyota as I like to show loyalty when treated well. Before moving to PA I purchased 7 cars in a 5 year period from the same guy/dealer because of that loyalty. After researching my options, I decided on a Tesla Model 3. I found quite a few on Carvana as well as one at Baierl Toyota. I decided to do the deal locally given my past experience. This time my experience was less than acceptable. There seemed to be no desire to work with me. I was offered $120 off of asking price if I would finance through the dealership at an interest rate more than 4 points higher than my bank. When I challenged that I was offered the same rate as my bank. I decided to not bother with the $120 as my time and credit are worth more than that. Then I was told I would need to come back the next day as they wouldn't be able to cash me out even though I rearranged my schedule to accommodate a "smooth sales process" as promised by Tommy N. When we returned the next day the finance guy started out with a chip on his shoulder. His demeanor was aggressive. After we signed the mileage/odometer statement, he changed the mileage on the form. When I questioned his actions he got even more aggressive and told me not to worry about it and that they do it all the time. He said all the documents we were signing we meaningless and you could "wipe your ass with them." While they may not be legal documents, if I can wipe with them, I'd rather not be bothered with having to sign them. I suggested he get his attitude in check or find us someone else to work with. He was able to change course and by the end of the deal was much friendlier. The next day I discovered two things. The first was that there wasn't a heated steering wheel as advertised on the website and there was a cable hanging down in the left front wheel well. I reached out to Joe McMahon, as he sent me an email saying he would always be available if I needed him. I also reached out to Tommy. I followed up later in the day with a phone call to Tommy and after not hearing back, texted him. I did finally receive a response from Tommy telling me to take my concerns to the Tesla dealer as it was still under warranty. In addition to all of this, the CarFax shows that Bariel Toyota performed an oil and filter change as part of the intake process. That is simply not possible on an electric vehicle. Based on my past experience I have lost any sense of confidence in Baierl Toyota. As such, when I go to purchase my plug-in hybrid in the next 2 months, Baierl Toyota will not be in consideration for my business. Do better folks! read more

Great service department. We were here in northern PA on vacation when our RAV4 hit its next 5,000 mile check up. It was a bit daunting being far from our trusted auto technician in Colorado. I came here with my younger sister to buy her car and we had a pretty bad experience. Candice was our sales person and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Going through the financial process, however, was when it all went downhill. Chris was talking down to my sister and me in a combative manner in an attempt to pressure us into purchasing every add-on warranty and service package. I expect some level of this from car dealerships, but Chris's attitude was completely disrespectful and he was downright mean. We felt awful after leaving the place. Buying a car should be an exciting experience, but unfortunately it was ruined by an aggressive employee. Bought a used vehicle. Drove it home. First one of the key fobs had a dead battery. So I replaced it myself. First time we went to drive the car, it would not start. So we called AAA. Bought a 2010 Highlander with 121k miles, that had it's current inspection. Brought it back to this dealership exactly one year later to get the new inspection. The purchase price of the car was somewhere around $6,500 or so. They say I need $2,300 of work just to pass inspection, with another few thousand in suggested repairs. That's almost the cost of the entire vehicle. I have never been in an accident, and the vehicle was driven less than 10,000 miles. It also took 4 1/2 hours for my inspection and oil change. I am not as upset by that. It takes however long it takes. At least I had my laptop with me and could get some work finished, but still, 4 1/2 hours in the little waiting room is not ideal. My service center representative, Andrew, was apologetic and relatively helpful considering everything else. read more

Went in looking for a Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid. Told them it would be super easy, we would pay cash, just get me a vehicle, wasn't even picky about the options. They had the perfect vehicle coming in late June/early July. Salesman said it was ours, no problem, he'd let us know when it was in. Weeks went by, didn't hear anything from them as the anticipated delivery date approached. I called them, salesman said he forgot to get a deposit and they gave the car to someone else. Next available would be late August or into September. We needed a vehicle, couldn't wait another two months so we had to buy from another dealer. Could have been the easiest sale ever, instead they wasted our time and we ended up getting something we didn't really want out of necessity. Very disappointed, would expect better from Baierl. read more

I just purchased BMW 430 there and I don't recommend this dealership. Here's why: they miscalculated my trade-in taxes by $700 and after I showed the difference they said it was a mistake on their side and apologized. Then they didn't count $5k I paid when they calculated my financing. Again, I showed them and they said it was a mistake and apologized. Finally on my way home (about 30 min drive) the info dashboard went black and disconnected 3 times. It always came back after reboot but I just can't imagine they had no idea it's mailfunctioning. Thankfully the car has manufacture warranty so I will be taking it to the BMW as soon as they can get me an appointment. read more

Just took our Toyota to get inspected and these absolute thieves went ahead and replaced all four tires without permission. When we insisted they return the original tires, thereby wasting five hours of my life, there was mention of a free oil change and brake pads for the inconvenience. Neither happened and my tire was flat to the rim two days later. I drive for Door Dash so I've lost nearly a week's wages fixing this mess, paying someone else to replace the tires, then being told I'm now missing a sensor since visiting this dump. I went back and insisted they replace the sensor free of charge and got to witness the multiple bonus incentives posted in the manager's office, encouraging "$1000 upsells" to the employees for more money. No wonder we were initially charged over $1000 more than we should have been! After two more hours insisting that our tire troubles had nothing to do with them, we leave and notice they broke our hubcap cover and tried to hide that fact from us as well. I'm reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, you people are an absolute joke. NEVER go here, they overcharge on everything. An oil change there costs $30 more than anywhere else despite what they say, complete ripoff! Anyone from Toyota reading this can handle my complaint through the BBB. If you are looking to buy a Toyota or any car from this dealership you have to think about it one more time. I strongly urge you to just buy from another Toyota dealership. I was looking for Sienna for my business Lou was a salesperson who try to collect deposits from me on Sienna, during the process, he sounded like they have it in stock or getting it soon, AND I HAD TO WAIT A MONTH AND a HALF TO GET MY CAR, okay I understand about the situation during the market shortage I didn't complain about this. Also, they charged me a crazy interest rate for a new car which is almost 9%, but I didn't complain about this too. Real problems start after I gave him a deposit. after the deposit, I can not reach out to him and until the vehicle gets my door I didn't even know when it was coming. and Now I am facing another problem which is the registration paper, according to salesperson they should send me the paper so I can register the vehicle in my state which is NJ within 30 days, now it's been almost 90 days since my temporary plates expired in few days I can not speak to anybody. of course salesperson, Lou is not picking up the phone or answering text msg, even though I called their dealerships more than 10 times to talk to ANYONE who can help, and left a voicemail to their Manager still nobody is calling me back for 4 days now. I had more than 20 times of car purchasing experience and I can surely tell BAIERL TOYOTA is the WORST, I don't even understand how they still have business going on PA if they are not able to do simple communication with the customer. When the car came in, I didn't like the color, and there were many hairline scratches on it. I cancelled the order, and the salesman, and sales manager gave me a really hard time. How absurd is this it's going to be 2023 and they can't credit a bank card. Nowhere at the counter is there a sign stating refunds on debit must be returned by check which there should be!! I was looking a possibly upgrading my current Toyota--I priced the blue book trade in on my vehicle and verified my credit score before beginning to even look. I was texting with the dealership about 2 Prius vehicles they had listed; I was told after checking I could come the next day and look at both, though one would not be able to test drive. I went in promptly when they opened, was told that the person I was chatting with was a "bot" and that the one car was never on the lot. The other car when I inquired the salesman had no idea about it, said they never had one in their inventory. I should have trusted my gut and walked out then--however there were other vehicles I'd looked at in their inventory the day prior that fit what I was looking for. I test drove one and the tranny felt rather rough to shift when accelerating. The salesman expressed that they had a Certified Toyota available. I inquired price, and told him it was out of my price point. He then told me after asking that we could work to get the cost in my price point as far as cost and payments etc. They offered me a 1/3 of my cars value for a trade in with the car costing almost 10k more after all their add ons. I left. The salesman reached out to me via the supposed "bot" text number to try and "fix" my bad experience. I stated what I would need in order to make it work--he then called me to discuss as well. After implying they could get me within, maybe a tiny bit above (10$ish), they pushed for me to submit the financing application. Proceed to Monday--I asked to speak with the GM about the misleading and lies, he left after a meeting and never called me back. They called me back and quoted me for an interest rate higher than any I'd had with any previous car, and that's considering when my credit was POOR. The sales manager called me to tell me it was a computer error that caused the car to be listed and the internet team didn't know better. I feel like I was baited into the lot--then lied to about their willingness to work with me. I will not be going to this dealer and I've made sure to share the experience with all my friends and family looking for vehicles as well. read more

Doing a lot of advance research before walking into the dealership, I had a good experience. I knew exactly what I wanted as well as how much I wanted to pay. I looked at inventory in several local Toyota dealerships & found the vehicle as close to what I wanted + that could be modified by adding a few things. I took a test drive with Salesman Tyler & was pleased. I made an offer & got close enough to it that I agreed to buy it. Not all of the accessories were on-hand, so I picked-up the car two days later after it was modified with the additions. That's where Tyler really took over & showed me all the bells & whistles that the car had. I'd say he spent a good 90 minutes showing me all about it. The electronics are much more extensive than those of my prior vehicle, so I would likely have never grasped it all without Tyler taking the time to walk me through it all. Without my asking, the dealership deflated the tires on the vehicle & filled them with nitrogen. I saw green valve covers on the stems that I'm sure weren't there when I test-drove it. That's not a great thing, but it's a nice thing; nitrogen is supposed to lead to better gas mileage & tire wear, so I appreciate that little bonus. The one negative I'll list is that I wish they could have taken back the brand new cloth trunk & floor mats that came with the car as an add-on to just charge me the difference for the all-weather mats that I wanted (and are a must-have here in PGH), but in the overall scheme, that's not too terrible. read more
