    Short answer: BUY A TOYOTA! A person only buys so many cars in their life, and probably doesn't have extensive experience with lots of dealerships. I just bought a new Corolla in August 2020, after buying my first car, a used Yaris there back in 2009. My mom has purchased a 2006 Sienna and 2016 RAV4, and my uncle recently bought a 2019 4Runner and Tundra. So we have some longer term experience with this dealership and I can't ever remember any big mishaps. My Yaris lasted me 11 years, only needing new brakes, tires, and battery over its lifetime, so it's actually a good thing I don't have much experience with this dealership in that respect since the cars are so good. As far as my most recent interaction buying my new car, I arrived already knowing roughly what I wanted. After extensive research I narrowed it down to a small vehicle with a lift gate for added utility. I also want something inexpensive and reliable so I don't waste money and live through the horror stories I've heard from others, and all research data pointed to Toyota, Honda, Mazda, etc. All Japanese, what a surprise! Baierl Toyota was our first, and thankfully only stop that day. After initially inquiring about a used RAV4 hybrid, I spotted an all-new beautiful metallic black Corolla Hatchback SE and instantly fell in love! We were offered a test drive and it was so smooth and quiet, with more power and space than my Yaris, and 40+ mpg. Plus the sticker in the door read 'Made In Japan', the most reliable you can get due to their high standards and national pride associated with auto manufacturing. Just stay away from any Fiat/Chrysler or GM garbage unless you like playing Russian roulette with your bank account and sanity. They always rank dead last in quality, awful transmissions, electronics, rust problems. Now the painful part, after the accounting department included a weekend sale price with recent graduate discount, the monthly payment was a laughable $4-500/month, no way in hell for a Toyota, especially an economy car! Thankfully the accountant we worked with took his time to do some wizardry and we scored a reasonable $350. The only issue I had was some marks on the hood, which I scheduled a return appointment to have fixed and they were still there afterwards! Annoying for a new car but I didn't feel like dealing with an endless back and forth so I'll live with it. They also recently built a bigger used car lot and always have full inventory whenever I pass by, can't say the same for North Hills Toyota, that place is always half empty so try Cranberry or even Lexus, I've heard good things about them if you want something more premium.

    Carey the manager was the nicest and most knowledgeable parts store manager I think I ever…read moreencountered. She explained a policy for not replacing a battery under a seat that made great sense instead of just giving a "hard no", like most places did that I called before. I appreciated the knowledge and decided to buy my battery there and replace it myself. Learned I could do it alone and she reassured me I would be fine with my level of knowledge . Customer service is still important. I work in sales and I can tell you that I only go INTO a store if I want to ask someone a question. It's easy enough to order online so having some experience both in dealing with people's inquiries and product knowledge is very valuable. I will now get all my parts here and say hello. Went to drop off my battery today too and the guy there was also very nice. Had a quick chat and got my $23 back on my pocket no sweat. Sorry I didn't get his name. Shaved head, facial hair, glasses. They run a good ship there at a job that probably pays too damn low to incentivize being kind. Well done. Even in a parking lot that probably doesn't attract a lot of through traffic. Food trucks are good too. Stop for lunch while you are at it. Also Carey spelled her name when I asked and she said "it's spelled with 'care' because I do! My god. CLONE this manager. And please give her a raise.

That's a disgusting and dishonest practice and I for one, won't give my time or money to anyone that does that. With that said, if you want to avoid that nonsense and have a good, honest experience buying a vehicle, go to Ron Lewis. I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to go in and have real conversations with real people and just avoid that whole rebate stacking garbage. They're not flashy, they're not going to wow you with gimmicks. What you will get, is a fair and honest price on a vehicle. I've bought quite a few cars over the years and it was actually a pleasant experience for the first time ever working with Paul and Shawn. Friendly, down to Earth folks that merely want to see you happy and earn your business for life, rather than trick you in with a low price you'll never qualify for. I did my research before I went in. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay and they surprised me beyond my expectations. Great people, great service.

    Sent my Jeep in for a diagnostics exam and asked them to look at a couple different things. They…read morewanted to charge me multiple diagnostic exams for everything I wanted to be checked and essentially talked me out of doing more than one diagnostic exam. Other garages will look at everything you want! When I did do the one diagnostic exam and they found issues with the tensioner and pulleys, I Ordered the recommended tensioner and pully directly from them. And at the end of all of this, it came to turn out they sold me the wrong parts so I got two pulleys instead of the tensioner and I didn't need the pulleys in the first place. So the diagnostic exam was incorrect, and they sold me incorrect parts. They did not want to honor a Diagnostic exam refund and made me jump through extra hoops to return the parts. Jim, the service manager says "I stand behind my work" when in fact, the work was incorrect. I would never recommend buying a Jeep or doing service with them in the future.
