The best Thai meal I've ever had. If all of the Thai in Sydney is this good, I'm in trouble.
There were some good Google reviews, so we chanced it. They were spot on. The restaurant was nice enough: better than average decor, not much ambience, but great service.
But the food. Oh, the food.
Starters: the soft-shell crab was meaty, moist, delicately battered, flavourful, and accompanied by spicy chili sauce. My wife - who's rather a crab aficionado - said it was the best soft-shell she'd had. My fried squid was tender, thick, plentiful, and had sweet chili sauce.
The mains: Goong Choo Chee (local king prawns with house curry, fresh lime leaves, coconut milk and aromatic herb sauce) for $22 and Ped Ob (succulent duck breast fillet roasted, with special house sauce, cucumber and carrot) for $19. Cooked to absolute perfection, and with sauces that exploded.
So, so, so good. Must go back.
