7/12/2024 - A great train station on the top floor. To make reservations for the trains you go to the 3rd floor. The second floor is the E floor for all the trains and the main entrance and exit to to leave the building. The lower level is like the restraints, a grocery store and restrooms. WX, the restrooms take only card and 1.50 Swiss Francs. A large display monitor is there with printed items. Also, a Tourist information office is there in the second floor next to Burger Kings. Have fun traveling. Off to another train to land in Switzerland. See photos. I always suggest pay the extra money for the guaranteed reservations for seats in 1st class.

    Train station.

This is a great train station which also offers some subsurface shopping and various restaurants. It's an easy place to navigate.

Trains are always promptly on time. They have every shop you need. Glad it doesn't close as early as the rest of the city.

The experiences can vary from day to day (and season to season) since there are so many different activities and sights to see in the area. You could really spend a whole week here. We started our journey to Jungfraujoch from the Grindelwald Terminal via the Eiger Express. It's the fastest way to get to Eiger Glacier station. There are some amazing views of Grindelwald and the Eiger during this 15 minute ride. After that, we walked through the main part of town to take in the Alpine scenery all around us. There are many shops, restaurants, and hotels decorated with flowering plants. They could all be that beautiful postcard picture with the Swiss chalet and mountain backdrop. It's no wonder why this has become a very popular resort village. Even the views between the houses and shops were amazing. It was a dream come true. A place that we always wanted to visit together. A very happy place!

This small mountain village is freaking awesome. Grindelwald is in the Bernese Oberland (Jungfrau…read moreRegion) of the canton of Bern. Eiger mountain in the background is awe inspiring. It is by far one of the most photogenic alpine backdrops in the world. You gotta visit in person to appreciate the view. Photos are not enough. Visiting in winter is even more stunning as the town is covered in snow - it's damn beautiful.
