Railway station [Kehl, Germany]
Took the train from Kehl to Strasbourg, France. Kehl is a town in southwestern Germany. We conveniently parked our car at a public lot and headed to the waiting area for our railcar. The train crosses the Rhine into France and there were no passport or border controls applied but we brought them anyway, just in case. The trains operate between 30-mins to an hour. It was easy access to nearby cities such as Strasbourg in France, where we ventured for the day.
This is actually nice to just be able to hop on trains and, all of a sudden, you're in a different country! The trains are clean and no traces of graffiti or vandalism which was nice to see. This was an enjoyable and convenient transit experience for me as a first timer.
