This is quite simply one of the greatest department stores in the world. It specializes in home furnishings but has a floor devoted to clothing as well that is nothing special (that I saw). The sales staff here are high priests of home style, they are not even slightly snobbish but make no mistake, they are the real deal. You will not find a single "bargain" here, just furnishings you will treasure and admire your whole life.

My Georg Jenson champagne topper will always remind me of a wonderful trip København. Ditto for the beautiful bag I got here. Everything here is extremely high quality. And the prices are not all that bad for how nice everything is. Worth a pop in, or two!

Summary: A must stop at for tourist shoppers looking for local design. They do the droopy…read moreoversized knit look that is very urban and hip, without being generational. The store: This is apparently a chain, this location is long and narrow, but well appointed. The vibe is dark and trendy, but soft given cloth and knit choices. Think James Perse if he suddenly wanted to use more cloth. The clothes: Check out their website. For tourist shoppers, I like this store. Despite being simple and functional, it's thoughtful, classic and modern. Price Point: Mid-range? particularly affordable during the current sale season. It would be on-par with Dune or BCBG in pricing. Who it fits: While age isn't the issue with these clothes, I could see a trendy older woman wear it very differently from a sophisticated tween. It's not flashy though. If that's your style, skip this.

To me it seemed like they had what would be the best items from a really good loppemarked. Didn't end up buying anything, but the prices seemed pretty fair. I noticed they have a lot of set of things (chairs, cups, etc) that you could buy all together. The woman working there was very nice and offered to answer any questions I had. They also sell teas and you can buy a coffee there as well.

They have so many unique items - not just clothing, but jewellery, sunglasses, shoes and the likes of it! You're always met with a smile when you enter, which makes you feel nice and welcome. Be warned that some of the people working there don't speak Danish, so you'll just have to brush up on your English skills ;) If you're looking for unique and special clothes that you might think are impossible to find - this is your best shot!

Hmmm. This place is…read morepretty expensive and I don't know if they really go for quality. I mean, you can have a Merona dress from Target cost more than a Ralph Lauren blazer just because its more fabric. That kind of stuff bothers me. There are some awesome things, but like 300DKK for a button up used guys shirt that's falling apart and isn't any specific brand seems ridiculous if its second hand. If you're gonna spend money like that, go get something new or better quality. Also, the changing rooms are right in the center of everything, and the fabric is too small and falling apart, so you're really awkwardly showing off your underwear to whoever walks by. 3 stars because they have an awesomely enormous selection of stuff.

They transfer the prior season or two from their "current fashion season" merchandise to this discounted storefront right next door. Most of it just has to do with colors of the season. Danish fashion does have it's certain look and I thought I would be in and out quickly...not so. There were so many outfits that I really liked. What made it more irresistible was one part of the store was 70% off and the other 50%. It's beautifully done store (as is most everything in CPH). I added more and more things to my pile and had to make the tough decision of what stays and what goes. The jewelry (Danish designs) were unique and practically at given away prices. I picked some necklaces for my friends and also as thank you momentos from me for the ladies at my hotel (Babette Gundsmeden). Maybe this store was too close to my digs. I love the few items that I purchased, all at 70% off...I soon went back to look over their things again. What's nice is that MANY designs fit all body types and sizes. The store right next door also has added great stuff and the newest season colors. The clothes are up there in (regular) price so I went right back into their sale store because their inventory was about the same. The lovely Brighita was so nice, spoke English flawlessly with a slight lovely accent. They hace a nuber of store throughout the city. She prepared my paperwork for ease for me in getting my taxes refunded at the airport. Do not forget to do this prior to entering customs..it adds up. Keep your receipts in order. They DO keep the originals so photo them on your phone so that you can add up how much this trip dented your account. Yes, this place is a definite recommend.....it was a lovely shopping experience.

I had been wanting one but did not want to pay so much money to get a new one. Their basement had a selection of old clock radios, so I tested a few on the convenient power outlet they have nearby, and took home the smallest one. For that price, I felt like it was a steal! The basement area is not so well sorted, but as I am the type to enjoy poking through junk shops this is just perfect for me. Good selection of furniture, housewares, glassware, decor. I think the clothing section is not that great, and they certainly do not have that many accessories. But I did find a little leather purse I like last time (again in the basement and away from their main clothing area). A great place to browse.
