I am so thankful to the Yelpers for the photos and reviews. The curry chicken roti was delicious but the true star was the steaks. I asked the young man behind the counter, what steaks had the best marbling that day. He suggested the strip loins / NY Strip. This is not a cut I usually buy, but they did look GOOD. So I picked out a couple, and also a couple tenderloins, because they looked like they had a bit of marbling. Hubby grilled them up the next day and we were amazed at the tenderness and flavour of all the steaks but especially the NY Strips. Absolutely the best steak we have ever had at home. In fact, better than most steaks we have had at restaurants! I have always been a fan of small businesses, and Happy Mango has the heart, quality and customer service that makes for loyal customers. Even though it's a 30 minute drive, no question, I will be making the drive to Happy Mango any time we want steak, and the bonus is we get roti for lunch that day! I will have to take a photo of the steak next time, these got devoured too fast! First time and I am already a serious fan!

I bought a pre made container for a hefty price of just over 5 dollars and brought it home to consume. I didn't much care for the taste and after eating a few I felt something fuzzy in the container as it turned out to be cobwebs of some sort. A closer inspection of the contents came up with a worm wriggling around the inside of one of the nuts. Enough of that ,I took a few pics bagged the nuts and put them outside for garbage pickup this week. To be honest I did not call to complain to the store but I have to say I will not be a returning customer.

My group sampled the chicken biriyani (Friday special), veggie bowl, and Philly steak. The Philly steak is not showing on the menu but is on the rotating videos played on the TV display. The food were all good. My friend's comment on the veggie bowl was that it was a little dry. The Philly steak I had was not hot anymore by the time I came to eat it after ordering. The washroom is spacious but could have been better maintained. It was not flushed when I came in and there is also no tissue paper. What sat well with me was the very good service from the gentleman and lady who took our orders. The guy was very helpful during order placement and also even gave us samples to try first. He took small portions of the butter chicken, achari chicken, and other dishes for us to sample. One of my companions also placed an order for salad or coleslaw. The lady at the counter also presented an option to mix different kinds of salads in an order. It was an overall pleasant meal time. I like the range of food offerings. The high quality service is also very much appreciated.
