Scottie provided the quote and was our main contact and he was a sheer delight to work with. What an asset he is to the company! We told Home Depot we needed Rubbermaid shelving to be installed in our laundry room. Mr. Perrin had us waiting for over two weeks with the estimate. And finally, it came... we had received an e-mail from him stating that he would be charging us over $1500 for installing six Rubbermaid shelves. This low life was not open enough with his clients to say he was not interested in the project anymore. Obviously, not enough in it for him to make it worth his while. I have serious questions for Home Depot but more than anything for Mr. Perrin. Who does that? What kind of work ethics does he support? A guy with a huge ego and no substance. Avoid him.

He stands behind his work and made sure that the final product was something we loved. We re-did our kitchen, living room, stairs, floors and a bathroom. While a few small issues came up- as they do with all projects of this size- Bryce surpassed our expectations and issues were resolved efficiently and often ended up in an even better outcome. He advised us on where to invest and where we could find economical solutions. His high standards for quality extend to his team, and we were really happy with the sub-contractors (A+ to Norbert and Marty for excellent drywall/ impeccable mudding). We Hired Simar and Save More roofing to put a new roof on our reno in North Vancouver. The roof was…read morecompleted in May 2017. We had a leak almost immediately. We have been trying to contact Simar for over two months and he refuses to answer or return our calls. Since then we have had an envelope inspector do a report on the roof. He found that the workmanship was very poor, and that standard roofing practices had not been followed, causing major issues with the roof. We have a very long list of all the mistakes that were made. We have had several reputable roofing companies look at the roof, and they all believe that it should be replaced entirely. This will be more expensive than starting with a new roof as the old roof will need to be removed. This repair has majorly delayed the rest of the renovation. It has also added costs in terms of drywalling, general delay and also extended rental at our current home. Additionally, due to a bank error, Simar was overpaid $3200, which he acknowledged and promised to return to us. It is many months later and he has not returned the money, nor has he contacted us. We have a signed contract offering a five year warranty. Dealing with Simar and Save More Roofing has not only been very stressful, but in the end it will have cost us additional tens of thousands. We have been nothing but polite and have tried to resolve this peacefully, but there is no response form Simar.
