DH and I decided to stop by on Sunday at 11am. We were seated right away and Lexi was our server. She was really friendly and we were happy she was available. She took our drink and appetizer order (empanadas) and came back afterwards for our entrees. She was extremely attentive throughout the entire meal and we never needed anything. She was aware of the levels of our drinks , etc. We ordered churrasco with tostones and rice and beans. I ordered white rice while DH opted for yellow rice. I also added sautéed shrimp with garlic because I like to put it on top of my tostones. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves! I really like this particular Bahama Breeze restaurant because of their atmosphere and energy of the servers!! You can eat outside or inside and the decorations are very festive. The music they play adds to the ambience of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back and recommend this restaurant! Come by on Fridays and Saturdays when they dress up and there is live music on Saturdays! Look at their website for up and coming events!

I came here after work one day for a work function. It was a nice, quiet Tuesday night. Their dining room are always so large and grandiose, and you feel like in some sort of Caribbean hut with the giant, slow fans. I like this. Service was good, too. Nice fellas. I was trying to be good, calorie-wise, so I skipped the apps that my co-workers ordered, but they looked good. They seemed to enjoy them. So for my meal, I got something that I can't find on the online menu anymore. It was a spicy pineapple shrimp dish, though. And it was delicious! Way too much shrimp, large chunks of pineapple, some diced veggies, served on some white rice and stuffed into a half of a hollowed-out pineapple. What more can you ask for? Overall, this place was solid. Not necessarily on par with the five star best-of-the-best that Orlando has to offer. But it was five stars in terms of it gave me exactly what I was looking for, and it did it well.

Cheerfully greeted at the door and seated quickly even though they were packed with an event. Abigail, our server was prompt and helpful. She suggested the Bahama-rita, so I'm giving it a shot! Oh yes.. daddy's happy! The honey butter crispy chicken sandwich with fries hit the spot. Great atmosphere with the decor and music... felt like I was on vacation... well, just for a little bit

Charis was our server and she was phenomenal. Flavorful food, excellent drinks, relaxing ambience and a wonderful dining experience overall. Lots of seating so we had no wait on a Saturday evening. Private parking lot with plenty of parking. GPS takes you right there without confusion.

I have been to this location a couple of times and service is hit and miss. It is one of the newest around the area, but the service is slow and the servers do not check up on you often. We saw our server maybe 3 times during our meal. The hostess was friendly and sat us right away. Food was good. We ordered the salmon tostada salad and the churrasco. Even though it took a while to get our food, it was fresh and well cooked. As for drinks these were not very good. We had a skinny margarita (not made the way it is supposed to) and the ultimate margarita which was okay. Not a bad spot around the area but be prepared to wait.

Great first visit to this BB location in Sanford, FL. I knew I was having the salmon tostada salad, which did NOT disappoint. This open and airy location, with indoor and outdoor seating, was very clean and I was quickly seated upon arrival today for lunch. I love the sweet tea here, but next time I think I'll try one of their non-alcoholic beverages. My salad was perfect! My server was very polite and you are able to pay your check at the tabletop kiosk. This is a great place to enjoy lunch with friends and family or Happy Hour after a long week. BB is one of my favorite chain restaurants and I'm glad this one is so close by. Would definitely return...

This was my first visit to this particular spot in the Bahama Breeze chain. We were celebrating a 93rd birthday and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. Our server put the cupcakes we brought into the cooler until we were ready then politely brought out plates and extra napkins when we were ready to celebrate. Of course we all had lunch first (delicious). Several of us ordered the special frozen margaritas to get started with. Yummy but Brain Freeze!!!! Be careful how fast or hard you sip on those drinks! We had a fabulous time and look forward to visiting this location again in the future.

Nice selection of chicken, shrimp, and beef with pasta, rice, or vegetables. Jerk flavorings, fresh pineapples, and more. Drinks are right-sized and visually appealing on top of great tasting. Margarita and mixed drink flights are available to sample the flavors.

Seafood paella

My best friend and I celebrated my belated birthday here after driving all through Sanford and not really finding a good spot to stop at. BB was packed, but we got a good seat at the bar where they had two sports things happening, so it was okay seeing all the buff athletes were doing their thing. Started off with a strawberry margarita ($12), which was tasty and a good way to begin the weekend. Looked through the menu, which had some good pickings, but I went with the seafood paella ($24) as my dinner, which had shrimp, scallops, and mussels in a seasoned rice. It was tasty and filling, but I did avoid the green peppers, which were mixed in because they were a bit limp beyond how I like them. The bar was crazy busy, so when we were ready to order, it took a small moment to catch the attention, but our drinks and food came out very quickly. The bar staff were effectively handling the work. The place was loud but not in a way that bothered or drowned out conversations when you spoke.

I've had pupusas a few times, but it's been a while so I was really excited to come to Pupusas & Burritos Grill. When I saw they did a unique take on pizza as well I decided I had to get both options to see how they were. It turns out, both were awesome! The pizza was a bit like a typical "Florida Pizza" so to speak in that it wasn't super thin, it wasn't crispy, it wasn't wood oven, etc - it had a fluffy dough and a good amount of sauce and cheese. But what set it apart was the huge flavor! The sauce was really tasty, the dough was tasty and the cheese was good quality and stretchy without being oily. The added pesto all over the pizza was like someone just pureed fresh basil - it was SO good. The best "margarita" style pizza I've had in a long time! The Pupusas were exactly what you'd expect. A nice dough with a cheesy bean mixture inside which was both really tasty and made you want to eat it all in seconds. The side salad / coleslaw was surprisingly good as well, with a great oil and vinegar type dressing that made me eat it all up when I often leave coleslaw uneaten. Overall I loved everything - the girl who took the order was really nice and the food came out fast. Will definitely go back.

I ordered the quarter chicken dark meat with white rice and black beans. The chicken was nice and hot, fresh off the grill. It was also seasoned well. The rice and beans were also really good. At a price point of $9.99 can't beat that for a hearty meal. The lady that helped me was pleasant and fast!

When we arrived the employee working the counter didn't speak English so she asked another associate to assist us with her order. Come to find out, the way the offer works is you have to buy two of the same meal and get two different sides which didn't really make sense, but we went with it anyways. My wife decided she wanted the New York strip meal with shrimp which I believe was a number 10, so we ordered two of those with two different sides. When our meals arrived (within 5-minutes) they came without the shrimp which was disappointing, when we looked at the receipt we realized they changed us for two #8 meals not number 10's and our order did not come with shrimp; regardless, the staff felt bad that there was a mistake with our order so they made us one side of shrimp as a compliment to our meal which was very nice. Overall the food was good, but some things could have been better. Our steaks had lots of grizzle on the larger end, the salad was very bland, and the vegetables were just typical crappy frozen veggies. If it wasn't for the BOGO offer I would be a bit more upset about the quality of the food when compared to the price I paid. I can get a much better meal at La Granga or Texas Roadhouse for the same price. Another thing I wasn't too crazy about is if you want to refill your soda you have to take it up to the counter and the staff will refill it for you. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and organized and staff were very friendly even though they had difficulty understanding us and there was a minor communication issue with our order. They were very apologetic and made up for the shrimp issue for one of our orders at no additional cost. I could see myself returning here again in the future but I would opt for a different dish and avoid the frozen vegetables and go for something made in-house if that's an item they offer.
